Dox Your Cats

That said: it's adorable as hell every time she does this. Treasure your cats, mine is getting on in years and I'm not looking forward to when her time finally comes.
My last cat, a tuxedo named Oreo, just suddenly disappeared one day at the age of 16 and I'm glad I didn't have to find out he was dead or take him to be put down. He was the longest-lived pet I've ever had, Millie probably won't just disappear like that because I don’t let her outside but I hope she lives as long as he did. She's going to be 4 in September.

Cat stalks me, I stalk him. He never used to like to get picked up but since then he has learned about cuddles so he follows me everywhere for cuddles.

Poor Miss Claudia had to be put to sleep today :(
She took a really dramatic downturn early on Monday so we scheduled to take her to the vet today. but she declined so fast that I was suprised she was still with us this by this morning. She had taken on a really weird odor that we think indicated kidney failure.

My dad's last words to her were the line from the Kajiit traders in Skyrim, "May your road lead you to warm sands". Our vet, bless him, was also in tears and asked Claudia to go meet his own cat who passed last year at 18.
She would have been 17 on May 5th, we've had her and her brother since they were maybe 6 weeks old? It's a very sad day in Casa de Reldnahc.

My most sincere condolences during this difficult time. She was clearly deeply loved for all of her nearly 17 years. May you find solace in the knowledge of her peaceful rest. Know that we are here for you if you need us for anything.

Thank you frend, it's definitely going to be a rough week. Her brother is following us around and is very vocal, so he definitely can tell something is wrong. He's checked all his sister's napping spots. I think he's going to get very upset tonight when he still can't find her. 😿

I think everyone should give their cats a lil' ice cream today since that was her favorite treat.

Clearly not his time slot for the one brain cell all ginger cats share.
I had an orange and white cat who was quite brilliant, but also very domineering as many orange cats are, and he basically acted like Heathcliff from the '80s animated cartoon as he always had to throw his weight around other cats, dogs, and people. He was however, very nice to people he liked and he chose me as his favorite.

Given his age, he may want to follow after her, so he'll need all the companionship he can get right now.

My husband and I were in the process of moving out when Oliver passed, hence why I haven't been posting pics and updates because there's no more kitties (for now). My mom had to tell me about Charlie going through all five stages of grief in those six months, and she said he just hadn't been himself. So not long ago they ended up getting a new kitten, Pepper. She's sent me a couple of pics, apparently she's not been photogenic.

(Mom said she was already fixed when they got her though her fur's slow to grow back, if at all.)

And within the last couple of months, Charlie has since returned to being Charlie. And she's been following in his footsteps.

Part-time ginger, full-time hippo Tablico. She loves being a bongo.

This mf won the battle with FIP and is getting so heavy that my legs hurt when he's sleeping on me. But who am I to deny him this simple pleasure in life?
