She is becoming a ghost tabby, as I started noticing recently. You can tell by the fur around the base of her tail mostly. There are clear stripes showing up if the light hits her coat at the right angle, but I don't think my camera can pick it up just yet. All her siblings were gray tabbys except for her, but that may change a bit, which is sad because I really like how silky her black coat is compared to the spot in question.

Meanwhile the old man just wants my undivided attention.

Damn, her head is all tiny when juxtaposed with her lard ass lol. She's beautiful though, and your old man is handsome.
 
My parents have started letting Ember outside and have her wearing a nifty collar with a tracking device so my dad can tell where she is on his phone. I'm still going to keep Millie inside, my house is in an area that's not as rural as where my parents live. But I just thought it was neat, today we were all sitting in my parents living room and my dad was telling us where she was and it was neat having her appear in the flesh right after he told us she was at the cat door.
 
one of the strays at work might have turned out to be two strays
one of them is black with orange mottling in odd spots such that I was worried it was some of skin disease
about two weeks ago she comes back with her face VERY fucked up,
she got out of the fight alive but she def was in a bad fight, bald spots and scars
about one week ago a black cat with orange mottling and a perfectly fine face is around

yeah it's never really appeared to be anything other than coloring, but it's not a common color in the guys around work
upon closer inspection it might just be the one guy and it was only a surface scratch that looked rough at first, she's getting a lot let skittish around me and it looks like there might be traces of it, also one of the other guys got a bit of a divot in his side the other day and it healed similarly pretty quick
