Why do pedophiles and pedophile wannabe/defenders always get upset when people call them pedophiles?

Pedophilia is looked down upon in more countries than the USA, no one has standing to be like "3 billion people just don't understand that loving a child intimately is fine and wonderful". Especially when their only arguments are "They're only a couple years older than the kid" and "they aren't hurting them, in fact, they make them feel good".

My guess is @DrFanta here started this as an edgelord tactic and then got offended because he secretly wants AJ or Enter to be his boyfriends and doesn't like them looked down upon.

Ephebophilia is the term for an adult attracted to teenagers.
See, even though some states (like mine!) decree that 16 is the legal age of consent (exceptions possibly being when the relationship involves a 16 y/o and someone who has some sort of authority over them, like a teacher or coach), a 16 year still doesn't have the reasoning ability of someone who's brain is done growing in the mid-20's. Even so, I think that consent law is more for teenage lovers rather than a high school sophmore and some guy in his 40's.

The issue is that even if the person isn't a child, they don't have the experience, independence or maturity to handle such a gap (let's say the gap being with someone 18+). I'm not going to speak for everyone, but I think most people, as fully fledged adults, would agree that they weren't exactly the pinnacle of decision making or rational thought in high school.

And as a side note, most adult men who go after teenagers, legally or otherwise, tend to be losers who feel like they can attract someone without that necessary experience. It tends to be easier to manipulate someone much younger. The younger you are the more each year makes a difference, which is why everyone shits their pants over a 14 year old and 19 year old dating.

The 14 pages bit mostly stems from how people found his Deviantart again and discovered a fetish image + autistic "FUCK KIWI/JUMPING DWARF/ED" notebook pages, on top of discovering four equally autistic 8chan posts, and how a little earlier in this thread, he threatened to come back today to prove why we are all wrong.

Also, the reactions to his hilarious pedo-shielding on a level not seen since the aforementioned Chained Divinity.

That's the long and short of it. There was some light doxxing and such, but it was really just op's advanced sperginess that propelled the thread forward so fast.

At this point I'm kind of wondering whether or not the Enter forum has left a scar if not an outright permanent mark on the Kiwi community. Sure seems like it, seeing as the place is still producing pretty sizable amounts of content even three weeks after basically taking the equivalent of an H-bomb.
