When people say leave trans kids alone all I can think is yes, kids should be left alone to work themselves out (natural part of the adolescence) instead of being rushed into transitioning. Maybe it's a phase they'll grow out of, maybe they'll transition when they're legally allowed to make decisions for themselves. Either way adults shouldn't be making those decisions.

Yes, that part I got, its the other part of your comment that left me perplexed.
 
So... I explained my mother, which liked the David Tennant episodes and Harry Potter about the bigeneration shit and that the new doctor is BLACK and GAY, her first reaction was a small sigh, followed by a prolonged and bored "oh no."
Do you think Sussel T Davis (aka STD) successfly managed to epically own the chuds or he just alienated even more people from his shit?

I thought the Doctor died at the end of the first episode with Jodie, she teleported into space with the black man and now they're trapped into a purgatory where they are turned into a crude mockery of themselves for the amusement of horrible people...

I read it. Basically he says that representation is “life saving” and that anyone that disagrees is racist,

Ok fine. But that doesn’t answer the question on why they didn’t use a famous Indian person if they wanted to ”represent” Indians then. Instead of making them proud of their archiivements you are forcing them into a super awkward stolen valor situation, and implying they have no one to look up of their own . That’s way more racist.

Just admit you didn’t hire a white guy to maintain your EGS score because otherwise that episode would only feature two white people. And you wanted to have your mavity joke so you had to have your cake and eat it.

Most people barely know who Mel is.
Most of the people that do hate her.
The special never hinted at anything about Mel. We got one line about Glitz and that's it.
Colin Baker is 80. We are not going to see him meeting Mel 40 years after it happened, you fucking retard.

I haven't watched The Trial of a Time Lord in ages, but wasn't Mel the companion that would set up the Valeyard? Or set the Doctor down that path?

Actually the opposite, as she plays a role in stopping the Valeyard from secretly stealing the Doctor's remaining regenerations after Master grabbed her from the future and sent her back to the trial to stop Valeyard.

(which leads to a continuity error when the novels tried to tell how Mel joined the Doctor; during TOTTL, Mel encounters the Master for the very first time when he kidnaps her so she can help the Doctor stop the Valeyard. But the editor who oversaw the book telling how she met the Doctor demanded the Master be included in it and had to jump through a lot of hoops so Mel and Master never actually meet in the story.)

I said it before; they are probably going to put 14/Donna on ice for at least a year before bringing them back, depending on how well 15 does.

If 15 does well or well enough to keep him around, 14 will probably get the occasional streaming movie or special or mini-series or guest spot depending on Tate and Tennant's availability.

If 15 flops, and they'll probably give him at least a full season before panicking, they'll break glass and find a way to get rid of 15 and explain him away and either continue the adventures of 14 or hit kill 15 off so we can get a white guy as the Doctor.
