I watched 1+2 of the new season back to back and Mrs Flood being in both 2025 and 1952 stood out way too much. I'm wondering if they could be setting up for her to be a regeneration of Missy/Master as they have been known to spend entire lifetimes planning before.

I'm wondering the same, but I can't see Flood being another Time Lord, or the Master.
I imagine Flood will probably end up one of the members of the Pantheon or some shit.

The going theory is God of Stories/Fiction.
I could buy it, there's a handful of things I could honestly believe for Mrs Flood
The Trickster is a personal favourite, it's been a long time since The Trickster has shown up.

I don't buy stuff like "She's River Song!" just because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, the evidence is kind of weak and almost too on the nose if you get what I mean. It's the same reasoning behind why I don't think she's The Master / another Time Lord. I'm not saying the writers are geniuses, but I do think they're not THAT fucking retarded lol.

But, if she is the God of Fiction or something along those lines, I wonder if this means the current Doctor isn't "real" per se? I guess that is already kind of the case since it was a "bi-regeneration" and 14 is still sauntering about and alive, as far as I remember.

Honestly, this episode was great. Probably the best episode since the Capaldi years. Sure some parts were cringe like pretending segregation was real and serious, but even that had a neat payoff that (I think unintentionally) showed that it wasn't as big of a deal as niggers like to pretend it was. I also think it handled breaking the fourth wall really well and I loved Mr Ring a Ding. I also think making the world end on the day the finale ends is a cool storytelling decision and now makes me suspect that the cancellation rumors are part of that and that's why there's been zero effort to clear those up (and why they've even leaned into it to a certain extent).

It is likely the Pantheon stuff but my problem with that is each encounter Dr Who has with them the reality of them being piss easy to beat makes the all powerful gods spiel more annoying, it's like having David and Goliath where Goliath's lore is that everyone for 100 miles has fucked him up.

If it was Master/Missy then they are equally matched can go at it again and again without it seeming unrealistic.

Holy cripes I keep seeing her shilled in Dr. Who articles like they're really trying to make her a thing. It's also very obvious they're burying the last bimbo blond companion and trying to distance themselves from her by pushing this one. With headlines like "she doesn't want to be here and that's a good thing" who tf are they trying to market this nuWho series to? If the rumors are true and Dr. Who really is on "hiatus" aka canceled that'll be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully it comes back better and not worse though.
They knew that this was going to be the last season before cancellation. They had to replace the busty blonde with an ugly pajeeta to own the chuds one last time.

She was the worst thing about Andor too which may be the last somewhat decent Star Wars media we'll get in our lifetimes. I dunno if she's in the last season of that or they killed her off because she's in Who but good God imagine shoehorning in an ugly insufferable pajeeta who's a thirsty cunty lesbian too? If that's DEI casting choice they can keep that shit to themselves.

IIRC Millie Gibson quit rather than re-up for series two after seeing what a shit show NuNu Who was hence the passive aggressive slagging, combined with RTD overcompensating over how he let Martha Jones's actor be thrown to the wolves to be ripped apart by the Rose Tyler fan girls.

Jamie immediately springs to mind. I think the modern show doesn't want to do that because people would draw comparisons to him and he's one of the best companions of the entire run.

Anyway, I saw the new episode and it was pretty solid. I'll never like having a nigger as the Doctor and the lesbo jeet companion (no clue if she's actually gay but she was a lesbian in Andor so I assume the actress is a gay street shitter) felt like needless box checking, but I enjoyed their dynamic. It's really funny to me that if Davies weren't completely pozzed by faggotry and diversity, we'd probably have some of the best Who in ages, but it's held back my a need to shove the two worst races in my face. The Al thing was a funny twist and while the incel bit was cringe, I can't complain because the guy who never gets over a brief fling but is a controlling ass is a very real type of guy who sucks and it's nice to see radfem RTD come back. I just wish he didn't suck tranny cock at every opportunity.
Katrina was the first none modern times companion and got killed the very next story because they didn't want to have to explain modern and future shit to her every couple of minutes.

It's also what with Jamie they ditched him being a fish out of water after two stories and how they didn't even bother with Victoria being a fish out of temporal waters

Wait I thought Millie Gibson was coming back for the finale. Anyway, rare Rose fan girl W. Davies has always been terrible with diversity hires like Martha, John Barrowman, and especially Mickey (although it's funny that the latter two went on to be rapists because I can't think of anything more stereotypically gay or nigged).

I appreciate the ways they're taken down, but you're right it's more entertaining when the enemy is equal in strength with the Doctor or at least only slightly above him.

Apparently this season has the worst viewership numbers ever in Who history. Some are speculating this means that Who is getting canceled but I'm not exactly sure on that. Has it been officially announced there won't be a third season with Shooty Gawa's Doctor yet? I think if they don't announce a Series 3 or a replacement for him soon it's getting more likely. It really does feel RTD just wants to do whatever he wants on Disney budgets before they pack it in though. Funny how fans blamed Chibnall for trying to kill Who but man wtf was RTD thinking? It's like he got all his advice from social media or something?

It's more that the order was only for two seasons. And if the show were doing well they would have ordered more seasons already but they haven't. There are rumors that he's shot a regeneration scene to basically end this era of the show off on a kind of cliffhanger.

Disney+ exclusivity deal and tripling down on the race/gender politics shit or calling fans racist or sexist will do that. So bizzare that we're nearing 10 whole entire god damn years of this becoming the standard go to method by media companies since ghostbusters 2016 happened.

I got spoiled for the whole thing by their shitty clickbait stuf that showed up on autoplay, not that it matters because I'm NOT GOING OUT OF MY WAY TO PAY FOR DISNEY PLUS SORRRYYYYY LMAO

Apperently according to these he's supposed to be scary/creepy but like he just looks like a goofy ass cuphead boss. At least he's animated well and despite the tryhard "oh no see he's actually a reincarnated god bluh bluh pantheon bullshit" it's an interesting concept with him becoming more "real" the more he's exposed to light or whatever till he just fucking fades out of existence and floats off into the sun and fucking dies. I hope they paid the animators ok because it was a pretty faithful rubber hose look, albeit more cuphead-y as I said earlier than actual old cartoons.

I like how in the clip I saw he made a gesture towards the doctor while mentioning old film stock burning when threatening to burn someone's house down, funny small reference.
EDIT: also he's voiced by the guy that played fucking floop from spy kids and I keep seeing people bring that up in various reviews lmao.
EDITX2: The threat was actually about burning the theater owner's wife that was trapped in a film reel, not the house.
