I would not recommend starting classic who with the first, or even the second doctors... Both have their charms to be sure (2 in particular is one of my favorites) but tv back then was not designed to be watched as it is today, and many of the episodes can be painfully dull by today's judgement... especially if you're trying to binge them as you would something on Netflix. It might be easier to start with some particular recommended serials from the 3rd 4th and 5th doctors. (A few have already been named here by me and others)After watching most of the first season of classic who, man its so slow, especially the prehistoric episodes where literally nothing happens for most of the episodes, I cant imagine having to wait for several weeks for anything of consequence to happen. Also Chesterton being the universes greatest fighter for no reason is really jarring.
Series 5 As a whole is easily my favorite of new who.I was rewatching Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang recently, man what a fucking trip. I loved it.
Series 1 is still my favourite, but Series 5 is a close second.Series 5 As a whole is easily my favorite of new who.
I liked series 8 and 9. They're not as consistent as series 5 but they're what I wanted out of Doctor Who in terms of tone, characterisation and production at the time. Also seeing tumblr fangirls BTFO made me laugh.Series 1 is still my favourite, but Series 5 is a close second.
It was all downhill from there though...
I was very excited to see it beforehand... But I remember waiting like a week (after the second episode aired) to see the two parter as a whole, with my girlfriend at the time... (who lived a few hours away) I do remember us both being disappointed though :/I was watching a reaction video (because I love seeing fangirls cry) and I got myself wondering.
What's your guys thoughts on Dark Water/Death in Heaven?

I enjoyed it personally. I'm all for a more alien Doctor and exploring a darker companion dynamic.I was watching a reaction video (because I love seeing fangirls cry) and I got myself wondering.

I think this story sums up a lot of the Capaldi era's divisive moments. Not only a more alien Doctor, but an emphasis on portraying a more toxic dynamic with the companion. I wasn't too impressed while watching it, but I might give it another shot, stuff like the so-called dead bodies saying "Don't Cremate Me" is genuinely chilling.
There's also the freefalling.

Speaking of alien I think it's time for non human companions. Or at least humans that aren't from the 21st century. Everyone praises characters like Rose for being "relateable human characters with real lives and families" yet it doesn't always mean they're well written. Less Earth shenanigans and more space adventures. I could care less about family drama.

Not any more we don'tAt least we have based Nardole.
It’s finally due for release April 27th 2018, both physically and digitally.
There are some things I care about the soundtrack to... (Mostly Final Fantasy games...) But I honestly can not bring myself to give a damn about doctor who music...
This was enough to put me off right here. When you're drawing from fucking Hollyoaks for your talent you know you're circling the drain. The teens, played by former Hollyoaks stars Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill
