I thought this was a pretty good episode, but knowing @UnKillFill, I'll bet he didn't like it.

Well played sir. Well played.I thought this was a pretty good episode, but knowing @UnKillFill, I'll bet he didn't like it.

I kind of hope this happens, because the salt would be enormous. I'd hate to wish for the sabotage of this show but imagine literally getting a series and a half, that's less than Colin for Christ sake, it'd be great to read all the bitching about it!Just gonna drop this here

For what its worth I highly doubt this is true but since its all over tweeter I feel it should be mentioned here. While I am still entirely unsold on modern doctor who (ever since that fucking moon episode) it would be more than a little depressing if Whittaker only had a year and a dozen episodes in the role, no matter what quality her initial run has been.

Series 11 is honestly not that bad
I hear that a lot, but I've yet to hear anyone claiming she's great. If they were going the female doctor route, they should have made her a female character and not just Tennant 4.0

IMO so far this season has been a lot like the previous ones. It's had some good episodes and it's had some really, really bad episodes. This isn't at all the "worst series evar" like "some" (yeah, me included) have predicted, but it's also not at all the best, even just among the past few series.
To be fair, this season has some stuff going for it that a previous ones didn't. Most notably, 2 likable companions. (Seriously, not counting Nardole, who came out of nowhere and was on the sidelines half the time, we haven't had a truly likable companion since like Rory... and even he wore out his welcome by the end of it with bad writing.) I hope Graham and Ryan stick around for at least another series. (Yaz can leave for all I care.)
It's also got something working majorly against it- the social justard shit has been dialed up to 13. That anti-gun (but explosions are fine) bullshit really derailed the early episodes. Thankfully, it seems like they've been backing off of it recently. (Probablyon my part)
I'll keep watching for now because I have genuinely enjoyed *some* of this season (like I did with Capaldi's and Smith's later seasons)... But yeah, I do hope it improves. And I won't shed any tears if Chibby leaves next year, because he hasn't done much to fix Moffat's mess.
Nardole was great, but he was more like a half companion, for reasons I dont fully understand. That, and he had to play second fiddle to Bill "Did you know I'm a lesbian?" Potts.Nardole was the best I wish we could have had more of him and capaldi just with a different writing team.
Lee Mack was pretty much wasted in his role - you could've got a nobody to play his character and nothing would be different.
