In his Mass Effect 2 video he criticizes the paragon hug during Tali's loyalty mission as being "creepy" because you hug a woman without her consent, ignoring the fact that Tali is an extremely close friend to Shepard and a potential love interest that is going through an emotionally taxing experience.

I really don't want to watch the whole video again, but there's a weird cut/edit at around 2:39:55 that completely skips a chunk of the mission (both gameplay and story) and doesn't really match with the rest of the video.

Another reason is the age of the average audience member. Games, by and large, appeal to younger audiences who are more conditioned to accept that ceaseless idpol propaganda as something inherent to the medium, and "problematic" to criticize.

Compare and contrast movies and books and TV. I have a family member in her late 60s, very much an old-school progressive/liberal, and she frequently complains about how she'll watch a new show/movie and "They keep making characters randomly gay, even though this has never been hinted at before! And they also keep having middle-aged women who are 'non binary' all of a sudden. I have never met a 50-year-old who does that, but it's all over in TV shows now! What's going on with that?"
