I don't know if Dende would've been a yandere specifically, but he would have been passive aggressive and catty around Videl. What did TFS mean by making their most prominent gay character toxic?


Also if you want a fascinating trip, look at the TFS subreddit. These people are literally writing the show themselves now. My friend and her team made a Daima Abridged series that's hosted for free on Pateron due to YouTube claiming it. I should convince her to continue her DBZ rewrite.
 
I'm surprised they went with Dende acting the way he did toward gohan in the later episodes, you'd think they'd find the "gay sexual harasser" trope way too problematic by that point.

This is coming from the same people who insists upon Zarbon Gay and Dodoria tranny. What do we expect. Their jokes are dated as shit. Not to get MATI. Insisting on a joke for the gargentrillionth time doesn't make it funny like Vivziepop.

To play Devil's Advocate, Dodoria wasn't a tranny. The joke was that "she" and her species are just so ugly, everyone assumed "she" was a guy.
 
Weren't the HFIL guys portrayed as gay (German?) gymbros? Gay jokes were prevalent in abridged series back then, you'd be hard-pressed to find one that didn't.

Speaking of outdated jokes, I remember Android 17 saying along the lines of "If you wanted to piss dad off, you should have just dated a black guy" after Android 18 kissed krillin.

For as long as the Internet has been around, people have been taking the piss out of the stuff they watch. And out of all the ways to do that endeavor, one of the biggest ways to do that is through the way of the abridged series, retelling the show in a funny way. And one of the biggest names in the abridging games is the guys we're talking about Team Four Star.

I do believe A19 was at least modelled after Hedo. But what time did Gero have to find a grandson who was kept from him.

But at the end of the day it's all just cope nonsense. He wrote a dogshit fanfic, and now that there is other Dragonball content about, he's been left in the dust completely.

This sent me into a mini spiral of trying to make sense of the time-line.

Hedo is supposed to he 24. Pan is 3-4. We know for a fact 7 years passed between Cell and Boo. So we can reason that everything in super/Superhero took place over the course of 3-4 years since Videl is pregnant when Super/BoG starts.
That means it's been 10-11 years since Cell, and means Hedo is older than Gohan even if we count his time in the RoST. Hedo would have been 13-14 while Gohan, with his extra year, was 11-12 at most.
So Gero had a teenage grandson he modeled a murderous, fat clown off of and Gohan is only 22-23 years old.

Really cramming shit together to try and make End of Z fit in still. There's only a couple years left before we hit EoZ's time-line based on character ages.

iirc 19 was modelled after a statue Gero had in his office while he was still in the RRA or sth along those lines

they'll just retcon shit with EoZ, Bulma straight up said she hasn't seen Goku in 5 years in the manga which DBS already shot way past

nevermind that those 10 years between Buu and EoZ were supposed to be peaceful, while DBS is the opposite to a comical degree
there's been more world ending threats in Super than DBZ at this point

Yeah, my friend and I are workjing on a rewrite (well more like they are.) but any ideas? I never fully grasped how it worked. If I were to also rewrite it, how would I fix PowerLevels?
