Goddamn Jap Broly is so good, and OG Broly is still cool. He gets a bad wrap because of his sequels, the games and memes which is a shame. He's such a fucking psycho in the first movie and so full of himself. He's what Vegeta thinks he is/wants to be. Even looks more Princely too.

What ruined him for me is all the retards who completely forgot how Broly was before the Second Coming movie, reducing him to nothing more than screaming "KAKAROT!" I've seen retards who refuse to see the original and insist that Broly never says any other words. Everyone seems to fail to get Broly right.

I have no idea how the line goes in Japanese, but he even teases Goku by saying, "What is to be rational?" in the dub I watched, when asked if he couldn't act rationally. He is a rage machine, but he remains in control; he isn't just going after people on instinct, but because he genuinely enjoys hurting others.

something that makes him stronger the more he gets his ass kicked. And then he loses bad.
A parody comic I saw once had him go
"See Kakarot, I get stronger when I get punched, but if I get punched too hard, I lose"
and unless Goku pulled out a glock during the Red Ribbon arc
Reminds me of this
>Android 17
>Pulls a M1911 and not a Glock 17
smh

Apparently, there's a rumor (or a 'leak', depending on what you wanna believe) of these major Dragon Ball projects that are gonna be announced on January. These include:

1) A Dragon Ball Daima movie. Apparently, its CGI. But the most consistent thing you are hearing about it is how there's gonna be a Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta teaming up with Super Saiyan 4 Goku to fight a villain that is either gonna be Janemba (or someone with his powers) or Lord Slug. It also involves those fusion bugs that Goku and Vegeta are gonna use to include a new fusion character.

2) A Dragon Ball Super remake anime that follows the manga storyline. That is what everyone and their mothers are saying.

3) This one is a rumor that only 3-4 people are mentioning, but the video game is gonna be a sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot which follows the Super sagas.

I would normally laugh it off because these are some real shit projects that are being announced. But the reason I am mentioning them is because, under normal circumstances, Geekdom would deny it if they were fake and tell people not to believe these rumors. But even he is entertaining this shit. And the last time he entertained a rumor is Super Saiyan 4 appearing in Daima, which he later revealed that he knew all along when it was revealed.

Still wanna know if you believe them, or how would you feel if these are the projects that are being worked on

I'd be fine if they just added to Sparking Zero some more. The Tenkaichi games were the only dbz games I needed

More story content would be good.
Single player content as a whole, what Sparking did wrong was skimping out on it. People love the Tenkaichi games (mostly BT3) because of everything but the online multiplayer, so them focusing on balancing the game for it kills any interest a lot of people might have had with it.

I kinda feel that with DragonBall games in general, which is weird since so many of them are VS fighters. I think the only game who's online was actually more fun than single player was the Raging Blast games, specifically 2. And I guess FighterZ but it's a shallow Marvel clone meant for online and has no SP content worth doing.

What about Kakarot? is it still popular?
Kakarot seems to only to be popular to people who are to lazy to watch the anime.
Kakarot does scratch that Legacy of Goku itch that's been missing from DB games. So I'd imagine it's still popular since it's still getting DLC.

What they need to do is make the game that was revealed to me in a dream. A Xenoverse spin-off called "Dragon Ball: Time Patrol"
>starts off at the start of DBXV2 where instead of your guy getting first place like the DBXV2 protag you get 2nd place
>Fu recruits you for a special project "I'm gonna send you back in time, and I want you to go nuts!"
>sends you back to Raditz fight
>you fight Raditz with Piccolo and Goku
>after defeating him you expect to go back to Conton but Fu stops time
>"I said go nuts! What happens next is up to you."
>You then get the choices: "Train with Piccolo & Gohan", "Train with the Earthlings", "Train with Goku"
>choices impact the story going forward
>train with Piccolo and Gohan? Gohan doesn't choke and takes out Nappa. Only Gohan and Piccolo survive.
>train with the Earthlings? Yamcha dodges the Saibaman and with a combined effort they take out Nappa. Only the Earthlings survive.
>train with Goku? Follows the main story as much as possible
>each story branches off from there and so on

So essentially the Sparking Zero Gohan What-If ramped up to 11.

I would love if they made a game that's basically like Salad Saiyan's what if stories.

Xenoverse 1&2 is just "What if the enemies were a little bit stronger?"

I want a game that has major consequences like "What if Krillin killed Vegeta?" or "What if Raditz lived?"

Maybe even something like "What if Goku didn't hit his head as a kid?"

Xenoverse 3 needs to go crazy with What Ifs.

Maybe even something like "What if Goku didn't hit his head as a kid?"
People always go about this like a no head-bonk Goku would end up being fucking evil by nature or something, and it always feels like bullshit.
It's one of the few things I'll give Toyotaro his roses for changing so that baby Goku was only such a crying little bastard all the time was because he remembered the faces of his actual parents, and the headbonk just caused him to lose those memories. Which is a nice pseudo-retcon all things considered.
There's retards out there who think Goku is genuinely brain damaged and retarded and that's why he's good.

Isn't that a Toriyama change from Minus? Either way I agree, it's a good change. The only thing I don't particularly care for with Goku's new origin is that Bardock was more present and involved, and less of a cunt than he was in the OVA. He's more like a slightly rougher Goku now than a seperate character.

That's what everyone wants out of Xenoverse. Or to be given an original story like DBO since that's what Xenoverse is aping anyway. Get us away from the fucking "movie character shows up, main story villain glows purple, OC Donut steele fight" pattern.

A DBS remake is the last thing anyone wants. We want the fucking Moro and Granolah saga at this point.

Yeah it's pretty shit. Should even go edge lord with it in some cases.
"In this timeline Gohan gets the drop on the Adroids and is about to kill them... You need to stop him."

Here's how the dream went.
>I beat Raditz
>trained with the humans
>unlocks their signature techniques
>what happens is Gohan and Piccolo die to Nappa
>all the humans survive
>assist in helping Goku take Vegeta down
>travel to Namek
>humans gets their potential unlocked by Guru
>humans versus the Ginyu force
>neat interaction between Chiaotzu and Guldo
>Frieza starts killing the Earthlings off one by one
>only one surviving is you, Krillin, Gohan and Piccolo who were brought back
>plays out roughly the same as it does in canon
>except Frieza straight up fucking murders you and Krillin at the same time
>go to King Kai's planet
>we're about to get wished back
>Goku beats Frieza (here's where you can return to a normal timeline)
>get the option to decline and "stay and train"
>Earthlings are on board
>actually learn the Kaioken
>Frieza comes back
>we're wished back
>we jump Frieza
>doggin' that nigga
>dad jumps "ahh sheeitt"
>we're getting bodied now

Now here imo is where it got cool as fuck.
>protag isn't worried "right, this is when Trunks shows up..."
>...
>...
>"Where's Trunks?"
>time stops, it's Fu "Why would Trunks need to come back if you already know the future?"
>can demand to bring Trunks here or "wait and see"
>choose wait
>Goku IT's in and goes Super Saiyan
>he kills Frieza
>Earthlings Kaiokill Cold
>shit happens
>Piccolo calls the player out "alright, you know way too much of what's happening"
>you fill the role of Trunks
>Piccolo now aware he's practically not even real, doesn't care, doesn't tell anyone except Goku, Goku doesn't understand, secret is kept
>you tell Bulma to scan Goku's heart
>she finds the virus extremely early
>cure is developed much sooner, conveniently right about the time he starts taking the medicine in the original timeline!

Second level of cool incoming imo
>cell saga progresses semi normally
>although there's some things happening that are rubbing the protagonist the wrong way
>Earthlings put up a bigger fight against the droids
>Tien combines the Kaoiken and Kikoho, doesn't last as long but he does a shit ton of damage to Cell
>Cell games start
>Goku is about jump in like he does
>"Wait Goku, it's my tournament. And I want to speak to [Protagonist] first."

Guess what retard? You never destroyed that bug that followed everyone around, Cell has your Cells and some of your memories.
>Even Fu is caught off guard.
>Cell begins explaining how he's going to kill you and make sure 16 keeps his mouth shut
>begins fighting Goku
>he one-shots 16 in the head
>no speech to Gohan
>except YOU give the speech to Gohan this time "Gohan, I fucked up. Epic style."
>Gohan goes SSJ2
>"Thank goodness, Cell is don-"
>Cell: "Kaioken."
>Cell Games become and all out brawl between Cell Juniors and SSJ and Kaioken'd up Z-Fighters

Cell Games end with you giving Cell the full nelson and both dying to a father-son Kamehameha
>Goku is about to give his speech about staying dead
>get the option to tell Goku "it doesn't matter"
>wake up

FUCK

>Cell: "Kaioken."
Professional "what-if" autist here, It's always fun to imagine Cell being able to do this, but he'd just straight up explode immediately if he did. Cell in the Cell Games is already using the Super Saiyan boost from being part Saiyan. Cell is 2/5th Saiyan and we know thanks to Online Lore that even extremely diluted Saiyan blood allows you to do that.
Also unless Cell can start asspull levels of Kaioken above the typical x2 Gohan is still pulverizing his bug ass. It's important to remember that Gohan was being rageboosted alongside the Super Saiyan 2 Transformation, which is why his Super Saiyan 2 feels so ridiculously powerful there compared to later showings.
Cell not using the Kaioken is the same as King Cold not asspulling transformations. It's safe to assume that these otherwise intelligent characters just can't pull out these massive power boosts when they feel cornered.
Also memories aren't kept in the genes, and Cell, even knowing that he should lose to Gohan and how, wouldn't bitchout in quite that way, he'd just kill Goku and then self-destruct on the spot.

Also there wouldn't be a Cell with your genes and memories in the first place, as that would require that Trunks go back in time so that he could be killed in a different timeline and then Cell could come to your timeline, and even if this happened with a different Cell, then he couldn't have possibly had the genes of the protagonist. Cell having those memories would be a paradox relying on the MC doing nothing in a future timeline so that the androids/cell could kill everyone and also having Bulma build a time machine . Can't have a Cell Saga without time travel.

tl;dr have more canon compliant dreams nigga
