It's possible that the show of precise group cohesion from the initial assault might cause a potential shift in perspective with regards to humanity's "individuality" and how horrifying of a concept that is to them.

I mean, it gets shown that humans can be on friendlier terms with them; the scientists were playing with them, Puro's friendly with Colin, various dark latex monster groups in-game have a sense of honor and fair play, etc. That said...

But I wouldn't count on it, it's more than likely that humanity will have to fight them next in the long run.

Oh, definitely; the enemy of my enemy is still a potential threat, and the differences between the two races would likely be insurmountable. I'm just saying that a potential team-up against the light monsters would be possible, given the common enemy.

I actually don't know how the forces of the refuge would deal with the really big bads, my own hypothetical strategy banks on "Dr K" having important information with regards to them that hasn't been revealed to players.

The worst part of the whole hypothetical is that the refuge will never be written as being this resourceful or proactive because of just who the games author is. Despite how up against the wall humanity is because of the apocalypse, the writer is too busy indulging in his morbid fetishism and furry propaganda antics to bother writing the awakening of pragmatism and resourcefulness that would inevitably arise from such a dire scenario. Why would he, when he's such a misanthrope? He would have a disturbing lack of faith in humanity. It's already clear as seen earlier in the thread that the very concept of the refuges being fully wiped out and assimilated really turns him on sexually.

Yeah, the most likely scenario is that there's going to be more bullshit "justifications" as to why humanity/The Shelter is the "real evil" even in the face of annihilation, while also being ridiculously incompetent/stupid against the furfag hordes. Like you said, Dragonsnow clearly cares more about catering to his fetishes than actually making an interesting plot.

Of course it would still be a fetish game through and through, there's absolutely no avoiding that, but it goes to show how his bad writing is a mistake that he continues to repeatedly make. Writing is surprisingly a lenient practice.

This can pretty much be summed up as if you are going to be writing a fetish story, you need to be a really good writer to somehow blend both that stuff well and make it work.

Also, ain't wrong that if Changed ironically wasn't created by Dragonsnow, the game would not only make a lot more sense but probably be seen in a better light then how it is currently.

There was a heated debate among the official Changed discord staff team on whether or not GaroShadowscale (the furry youtuber who grooms kids with yiff and uses cult tactics to make them pay exorbitant patreon subscriptions to him) should be banned from the server. He was at one point banned for his reputation as a groomer but the staff team then accepted a ban appeal from Garo because they knew Dragroomsnow (who the Changed discord staff team answers to) would be very unhappy with Garo remaining banned as Garo is subscribed to DS's patreon and plays a instrumental role in attracting minors to Changed through is YT content

What bothers me is that even in spite of all we know, it's still hard to really get a handle on precisely what kind of guy Dragonsnow is exactly and what his motives are. Like we know plenty about his morbid tastes in fetishism and his highly irresponsible behavior when it comes to his game EPI-ing everyone, but it's hard to tell exactly why he keeps it up. It seems like he's a dumbass who somehow has blinded himself to seeing what's wrong with what he's doing, but the Garo stuff makes it seem like he's being very deliberate because he's become part of some kind of ring. He doesn't seem to be directly grooming anyone (with messages) himself, but has little problem with others doing it. He definitely seems to be deliberately pushing the game further and expanding its influence, especially with people too young as he has joined in on the gaslighting of the games real nature.

But like the real question is if he does all of this EPI-ing because it also gives him the jollies and he keeps craving for it, or if he does all of this because by EPI-ing loads of people he sees himself as creating new loyal customers to use to earn himself money, or if he does all of this because he's fallen completely into the audience that surrounds him who are all groomers. Or if he does all of this because he wants to feel less like a freak by creating more like-minded freaks through sexual imprinting. The answer is probably some freakish combination of all of these, but I lean towards the money motivation the hardest.

I think that on some level he knows what he is doing is wrong, because of how cagey he is about the real nature of what he's doing by joining in on the gaslighting. Whatever his true motives are, the one thing clear in all of these possibilities is that he wants to spread this even further, people like Garo are useful to him for this, supporting the gaslighting is useful to him for this, giving his blessing to ROBLOX groomers is useful to him for this, etc

I feel like saying that Changed is EPI for having a cutesy chibi style is untruthful considering how many regular adults who are  not chronically online like cute things. The cute artstyle 'helps' with their EPI I suppose, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't the original intention, and I don't think Changed was originally intended as an EPI game, but when it became used as EPI the art style when combined with snow's... 'interests' and the community's talent for denial definitely made it into one.
