Watching the way this has propagated has been interesting, if disheartening and maybe even a little blackpilling. Keffals and his entourage spread this narrative that the kiwifarms is an alt-right hate site, exclusively for the bullying and harrassment of the marginalized, obviously false, and totally contradictory to what the website actually is. This narrative is picked up by journalists who write slanderous hit pieces about the website and its users, these slanderous articles are used as sources by Wikipedia, who edit the article to match what is written in said hit pieces, and suddenly Keffals has a "trustworthy source" for all the things he says, even though these "trustworthy sources" are based on his verifiably false words alone. Couple that with making the website harder to access for normalfags, and normies being fed this narrative through all the usual ways, social media and the news, this easily disputable narrative is now 'the truth'. Where is the proof? Well, its on The Washington Post, and its on Wikipedia; the modern arbiters of 'truth', and that is all most normalfags need, the people who have told them what they believe to be the truth tells them something in a manner that appears factual, and they believe it, no personal investigation necessary.

The "Kiwi is alt right" has been going on for a while now. It was the narrative back in 2018 when I joined as well. And yet lo and behold, most of what I saw then was people shitposting. A lot of it was horribly insensitive, yes, but these weren't the white supremacists I was told to expect. It was just people being edgy and goofy.
 
I've seen more non-retarded leftist discussion on this website than anywhere else, probably because you have to actually argue for what you stand for instead of just trying to paint the other person as a racist/nazi/bigot/buzzword.
 
If it doesn't absolutely scare the shit out of you that a business can just terminate its DDOS protection services because it doesn't like what you say, then you can't really call yourself a free internet advocate. Absolutely insane to me that the same people who called Trump Hitler for trying to end Net Neutrality are praising this as a win, moreso since only a decade ago they were the ones widely considered freaks of nature that should be shunned by society.

Either way, after TDS and 8chan, this is Cloudflare's third strike. It's no longer exceptions, at this point it's the expectation that fringe websites shouldn't be allowed to exist. I'm just honestly amazed that the troon army has somehow managed to control the narrative that Keffals isn't a child groomer who provides illegal estrogen to kids. When the site was down, I saw an absolutely stunning amount of people saying "I keep seeing these claims, where is the proof?" as if those fucking morons weren't somehow complicit in taking down the site containing the proof.

Journalism is one of the few "professions" where everyone involved is ontologically evil. The worst part about them is that they are untouchable. No matter what the government, or any individual or group does, they will always be a scourge. You can't even kill them because it would make the situation worse.

Their entire job is to lie about and misrepresent everything they come across. And I wouldn't have a problem with it if they just admitted it. Just tell the world you're a rat bastard who takes glee in control the minds of the populace.

But none of them do that. Their egos won't allow it. The journalist lies to point where even he believes them. The greatest lie they have ever convinced themselves of is that they serve an important, morally righteous function in civil society. This creates a smugness and aura of superiority that comes out of everything they say and write that is insufferable.
