I make hot toddy with dark rum, in about a half and half mixture. Strong English Breakfast Tea (or any mostly assam tea), the juice of half a lemon, honey, rum. Maybe a cinnamon stick.

Just took some xanax and temazepam. Feeling pretty chill already. Gonna watch some Law and Order and cuddle with the puppy soon.

Anyway. My hot tottie is pretty boring compared to what some of you guys are doing. Half whiskey, half boiling water, lemon slices, honey, and a cinnamon stick. I drink it without the whiskey when I have a cold. Clears me right up.

As long as we're sharing hot toddy recipes, here's something similar that toddylovers might enjoy.

Two shots of blended scotch, preferably a scotch that's nice and smoky. Black Bottle is low-cost, but still has a lot of character to it.
Two shots of ginger wine - Stone's is supreme.
A dash of lemon, and enough boiling water to make it piping hot.

Waiting to see if the place I'm applying for does drug tests before I start smoking again, but in the meantime I've been making some cheap-o rootbeer floats with whipped cream vodka and diet A&W.

Yeah, that shit sucks. Drug tests are a waste of time and money for the employer.

I love my job for that reason. I'm a programmer. No one gives a shit if you smoke all the drugs in the world, as long as you can write code that works.

I don't know much about Xanax but I love Temazepam. I really miss Temazepam. Were yours the capsules (Jellies) or tablets? Since the UK government banned the prescription and distribution of the capsules here it's quite a hard drug to get a hold of now. I always preferred Temazepam to Diazepam (Vallium). I find Temazepam is much more pleasant and doesn't leave you all groggy the next day. In my home town addicts used to inject the jelly from the capsules but the jelly would harden up in their veins and many people needed amputations. Soon after the government banned them. That was a great move though because all the Temazepam addicts moved on to Heroin. At the time Temazepam usage in my town was so well known that two nationally broadcast documentaries were made about it. The Cook Report on ITV and Panorama on BBC. I've been hard into benzos for a few years now, mostly xanax, ambien and vallium. I only got the temazepam script last month, but I'm liking it so far. Mine are the capsules, but I'm going to see if I can get the tablets next time. I just prefer tablets in general. I'm going to try just the tems tonight, without the xanax, and sees how that goes. They mixed with the xanax really well though.

On a non-drug note, I had an Indian beer called Taj Mahal at a curry place tonight. Really fucking good stuff.

Finally got high for the first time in a while. Watching Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and blazing.

Holy shit I'm high as fuck and listening to the fucking Thomas the Tank engine theme, why the fuck is this so catchy, it sounds like evil carnival music.

What size capsules are you getting? The 20mg ones were the most common. Sometimes you'd come across the 10s which were tiny and the 30mgs that were like rugby balls. First time I saw one I was like "how the hell do you swallow that?". The tablets are actually quite pleasant to eat, they have quite a sweet taste. I had heard the the capsule was bad for your stomach so I used to make a cup of tea, bite the capsule open and squeeze the jelly into the tea and give it a good stir. In a tea it would come on you quite quick and goes great with a joint.

Around here there are loads of fake Vallium being sold on the street so I never touch street pills any more. I have a friend who lives down south who I get high strength Morphine Sulpahte capsules from (the 100mg ones) 3 of them with a joint is lovely.

My Dad gets a Clonazepam script every month. His dose is 2 (0.5mg) tablets a day but he always gets 112 in his script so every month there is at least 40 spare. I like to keep a couple of sheets around for my days off, a few Clonazepam also go lovely with a smoke. Really wish I could get Temazepam capsules again. I'm guessing that because you get the capsules on script that you're not from the UK?

Threw the bottle out, but I'm pretty sure they're the 20mgs. I just like tablets more, they always seem to hit harder and faster. I don't mind a shorter, more intense high (honestly, 90% of my benzo use is an attempt to knock myself out. I have horrific insomnia. I'll go days without sleeping, and when I do it's usually less than five hours. Plus I have night terrors, haha. I'm a mess) But Xanax, that stuff tastes like shit. It's a dash to get them down as fast as possible. The name brand ones aren't so bad, but I get the generic and they're awful. Klonopin has a nice taste though.

I used to take Oxycontin pretty regularly. I hate to say this, but my stepdad was dying and they'd give him like 500 pills a month, and we'd get stoned off them and hang out and share a joint. Once he passed away I quit. I'm not interested in dealing with the kind of people who sell that shit.

And yeah, I have scripts for all my benzos. My doctor is kind of a quack. He's done a great job at treating my schizoaffective symptoms... No hallucinations or crazy mood swings in about two years now. But he's shit at dealing with my anxiety and insomnia. He just tosses benzos at me.

And yes, I'm American.

Generally my pill usage is for the buzz rather than for trying to get a sleep. AFAIK Oxys are quite expensive to buy on the street in America. Over here the going rate for MST is £1 per 10 milligrammes but I've been getting mine for a decent price. Last year I got 19 10mg MST instant release for £10 and for the 100mg they work out at £3.50 each but I never buy them singley. The downside of a high strength Morphine Sulphate capsule is that they come in extended release. I open them up and pour the little balls into an envelope then crush the balls into a powder with a rolling pin, then pour the powder into a Rizla and swallow it like a pill.

For a sleep I find that Zopiclone and Pregabalin work quite well. 450mg of Pregabalin also give you a rather nice euphoric buzz.
