I've finally got round to doing something with my stalk.
I, like most stoners I know, hoard stalk in the vain hope they can do something with it. Normally people soak it in vodka (for a green dragon), or smoke it (because they're desperate druggies who need a hit, never smoke stalk kids
). I decided I wanted to do something more... useful with my stalk? Weed vodka isn't that good, and it takes months to make. And i had a LOT of stalk at this point, enough to fill a tobacco pouch, so I thought nows as good a time as any.
So I tried making a hash oil from it, i googled it and the easiest way appears to be QWISO, which is submerging the stalk in alcohol to absorb the cannabinoids, then leave the alcohol to evaporate away, leaving a nice hash. IN THEORY. It's currently evaporating on my windowsill, but I have high hopes for it

Also I wish my better half didn't hate the smell of pot. Even though I smoke outside and chill out there for a while afterwards I still make the whole place absolutely reek of weed within a minute or two of coming inside. They tend to whinge some about it even when we own enough incense to build a cabin out of the sticks.
I think I may just say fuck it and smoke anyway. I need to unwind and I can't even get a buzz with neat spirits after having a big meal.

I usually use leaf I get from friends so I've never tried stalk,
I use 100% isopropyl alchohol, never tried vodka but more or less the same method. You can't go wrong, might take longer to evaporate and leave a bit of a taste but it's fool proof.

I'm not using vodka for the QWISO, I'd be too terrified of killing myself with whatever additives there are in it
I'm using 99.9% isopropyl that I got off eBay. I still feel like i should be more involved during the evap, I've not heated it at all, and I don't have a fan on it either. I've just kinda left it to do it's thing (My friends like to leave their stalk to soak in vodka for months, then drink it. They say that you get a buzz from it, I don't really notice anything. Seems like a waste to me.)

Yeah, you should keep it in a jar for at least 3 weeks or keep filling it up if it's got no lid. If it dries up and it's not enough you can just fill it up again, it shouldn't ruin it. Never heard of people soaking stalk in their vodka before, I wouldn't be able to keep a bottle for that long tbh.

Not drinking it.
Only drink it after it being in the freezer for a good while. In all seriousness I like to drink vodka mixed with triple sec, granted I also mix that with Sprite, cranberry juice, and grenadine syrup. Makes it much less sad. Unless it's Żubrówka. You drink that straight, or with apple juice.

My favorite vodka mixer:
Take a two liter pitcher, and dump in a can of frozen lemonade concentrate. Then add the syrup from a can of pineapple rings or chunks, a 750 of vodka and enough water & ice to fill to the 2 liter line, about 2-3 cans.

Add it into any drink you like. It's colorless, odorless, and tasteless. You could put it into ice cream if you like.

This might be the worst idea in the entire world, but this sounds like a great way to brew DXM powder without having to cook anything or use non-cullinary chemichals. Which I'd love to give a go one day since every time I take enough of those fucking gels to get high I vomit to the point where I risk concussing my head on the toilet and then Elvis Presley myself.

Even small amounts of alcohol in ice cream lower its freezing temperature and cause it to melt.
About a shotglass of liquor into a quart of ice cream works, but that is more for flavor than kick. For instance, a shot of good bourbon in peach ice cream is pretty good.

Drunk as hell right now. Wish I was high, but unfortunately, weed is not legal in my state. Fucking legalize the shit already, they allow us to get drunk off our asses and that shit has dire consequences.

Holy ohmygod, all my weed guys were out, so I had to go to a source I don't normally speak to, and hooly shit is his weed tasteh.
He also told me the strains which is p cool, I don't normally know what I'm smoking
It's purple Maroc and it's soo pretty. I tried to take photos for the farms to drool over, but the winter darkness is making them all turn out badly. This is the first time I've ever seen purple weed, it's not all purple, but its like fluffy and a lighter colour green with a few purple splodges and veins, its so fucking cool.
