I'm making this thread for gathering all the dispersed info there is on Line, and because I thought it would be fun to compare speculation and see which resemble more like a conspiracy theory.
The main objective is simply for discussion.
I don't want to post a massive wall text but I have to include everything that I'm aware of.

First of all, the reasons why any of this is relevant to not only the mobile game, but DSP's modus operandi and lies:
Line is simply a tool for instant communication that for some reason gained popularity amongst Champions players. Despite some of its users not wanting or even hating it (Reddit thread, archive), it's still demanded by some factions in order to join them.
This is one of the factions Rafters was in that had the requirement in optional, credits to @LyteSydeByll and @TJGamebox :
Optional000001.png
The app is not used in the US as much as in some parts of Asia or specific gaming communities, so why would our favourite gamer have this installed? He says that he has not time for friends, and he avoids any kind of socialization on stream against his audience's wishes (no MP with fans, no mic, not even TopTierBrian coop.).
The name on the Line account is TheyCallMeDSP, which is Rafters' initial one. If he were using this to contact relatives like his parents, it would be strange for him to use his Twitter handle as nickname, it just doesn't make sense for him to have this particular app.

He also has denied using it or even knowing about it. If it had a legitimate use, lying about it would be an insult to his fans:

DSP's defense on stream

I don't know anything about this stupid Line app, I don't know how it works, people are-are telling me things about it, I know nothing about it. All I know is, I have nothing to do with it at all. I've- I don't have an account on fucking Line, I never did anything with it, I don't know anything about it, so whoever did it, did it in my name if it exists, I can't confirm if it exists or doesn't exist. Sounds like someone made an account in my name to try to fucking screw me over just like Discords and everything else that's happened this year, I know nothing about it, but it sound like you're a conspiracy theorists, doesn't it?
  • (Rant) credits to Blooper World Order on Youtube:

You can hear him pretending to not know how code verification works. His argument is that because his personal information got doxed then that means someone used it in order to register him, despite the obvious obstacle. Well some people have created a Line account, but I'll post @Piece of Peace making one on record:

I'll also post @That Anony Mouse comment on the verification process:
Anonymouse00001.png

This means that without the device connected to the number, you cannot make an account with the exception of something mentioned later.
The only thing to add to this is the possibility of making a "dormant" one (not completed).
That is an account which is stored in the database but has not been confirmed, it sits there until it's finally verified, purged out of the system or stored indifinitely.
However you can see in Piece of Peace's video that you select your nickname after entering the code, given that the account has a name (TheyCallMeDSP), it should mean that the person went through the full process.

So what instances would make someone who is not DSP successful? It would either have to be by SIM swapping, or through some form of SMS interception.
I'm not an expert on this, but SIM swapping would just port the # to another, making DSP's unusable or clearly compromised. SMS interception seems too complicated for someone to just sign him up, they'd instead be messing with all his credentials all over the place.
This is where no one can disprove the theory, but at this point it's reaching.

Now we come to DSP's other argument, "You don't even know that I still use the same phone number". There are 4 problems with that, and a little extra appended at the end:

1) He's on record claiming that his old friends could call him since he's the "public persona with a public phone number". Timestamp at 8:49

2) Several people called him and were greeted with his old voicemail. A video on it, credits to James the Lesser Express Lane on Youtube:

3) He said that his number is the same:

4) I already made this comment on the other thread, but I'll repost as is. It'll also give me the opportunity to clarify a discrepancy you might encounter if you try something similar, courtesy of Twitter:

Do you remember the time he made the "me_dsp2" account?
I did check his forgot password option way back, this is the post:
So I forgot that DSP had another Twitter, which he created back in May 2020. (me_dsp2) If you check his recovery for that one, it's the same as his other major ones:
View attachment 1842654

But if you check the recovery through phone number, instead of username, you'll get this: (I believe under some IPs it's necessary to add +1 first, in which case the result is the same)
View attachment 1842652
This means that the impersonator would've needed to link the # to 2 or more Twitter accounts. That, or those "more than one" are just (TheyCallMeDSP) and (me_dsp2).
At this time I remember just entering the username, then Twitter would automatically greet me with the image you see above: "Text a code to the phone number ending in 24".
However I checked this today and something changed (only for "me_dsp2", not "TheyCallMeDSP"), it would no longer say that, instead it would tell me to enter a phone number in order to proceed. This suggests that DSP changed this option between the time I made that post and today.

Here is the video where you can enter it, I deliberately mistyped it the first time so that you see the warning of "Phone number incorrect. Please try again.", then I enter 2038951924 and I'm able to continue. This means that it's linked to that account:

This is the "problem" (not really).
As you've seen, DSP's option was recently changed in order to hide information, which actually made it easier for anyone to confirm that it's actually linked to his account.
However you may find out that if you enter something like 1038951924 (1 instead of 2), it'll also take you to the next stage (the final "send SMS" stage), just as if you type 2138951924 (1 instead of 0), common sense would say that access should be forbidden. So why would this happen?

Twitter lets users mistype one digit (maybe 2) when this option is turned on for the recovery process. I believe and other people as well that it's just a mechanism the platform has in order to protect users from third parties bruteforcing or guessing your phone numbers via this method. It tries to create several """correct""" answers so that no one can run a script and compile such info like this. It's not 100% confirmed, but it explains why Twitter has a slight tolerance for mistyped digits on this option.
In DSP's case, 2038951924 must be the one linked so he should still be using it.

Just to finish, I'll play devil's advocate and assume the # is in a troll's hand.
It would mean that between the creation of his me_dsp2 and Line's discovery, DSP would change the #, forget about updating his credentials, someone would manage to get it, and then register him for Line but not touch his other account.
TimeLine2038951924.png

Line's discovery: post
Announcement of me_dsp2: Twitter, archive

I'll append the extra although it's not as important as everything else here, it's DSP's police report from years ago. You can see that his # was the same while being in RENTON, WA. giving even more credibility that he kept it after moving (since 203 is the area code for Connecticut).
This is all the info I recall (post more if you have), so now it should be easier to determine which sounds more like a conspiracy theory, if DSP's version or yours.

The fact that Phil refuses to even touch on the confirmation being required says everything. He harps on his email and number being public, and acts like that's all it takes for anybody to create accounts using either one. It isn't. There's a reason websites send confirmation requests to begin with, it's specifically so that people can't commit acts of fraud, which would otherwise be insanely easy to do, and cause a lot of legal problems. It's why people have to steal a lot more information to commit fraud, like passwords to email accounts. Hackers break into databases for all kinds of websites and steal those all the time, which Phil could use to explain his email getting used to confirm things, but would also beg the question of why he continues using that email, if he doesn't have full control over it. It also doesn't explain how they use his phone to confirm accounts.

Phil won't go there with his rantings because he knows all this, and can't go there without admitting that only he can confirm the creation of these accounts, and thereby ensure that they'll be easily found for months on end, rather than briefly exist.

Could you imagine the chaos if we could sign each other up for any website or service simply because we knew their email address?

That's why they have safeguards where you confirm the phone number and email address by clicking a link, scanning a QR code, access the app from within the device, confirming a one-time passcode, etc. If you don't confirm it, the account would either not finish registration, be deleted after a certain time, or remain dormant. You can't even achieve this sort of purgatory through LINE, and even if you could, there's no proof that the unverified account would be searchable by phone number and register a Line account under his name.

Not sure if this was mentioned in the OP but I had a couple comments on my LINE video RE: maybe DSP made the account on an older version of the app that did not require text verification.

As far as I'm able to tell, you have always needed to verify by text to have a phone number linked (note that you CAN make a LINE account with a Facebook account, but you will not be able to have an associated phone number without text verification of said phone number.)

Oldest YouTube video I found on the matter was from MARCH 2014, which showed that even then a text verification was required:

Thank you for rewriting this OP
Thanks for reading.

From all the videos I've seen on this so far it has to be like that, it's standard protocol to send some form of text code (or even call) in order to verify the user's phone number.

We also have the old Line help centre archives (dates back to April 2014):

If you only register your Facebook, like you say you'd still need to verify the # for itself. Without it, it should prompt you with something like this (taken from another video), you can cancel it or face the phone verification as we've seen.

There's something else: Why obsess over the LINE account to begin with? Meaning, why does Phil mention it? Why does he zero in on this piece of evidence, and harp on it being nothing? He doesn't do this about Discord, something else he lied about, he just gives the blanket statement about doctored images. People have pointed out before that he could've just said that the account is his, and in regards to using it for Champions, he could just deny that that's what it's for. He could assert to use it instead of Discord because he feels Discord is less secure for whatever reason.

Mind you, WE wouldn't buy it, but the paypigs probably would. Which leads me to believe the following: Phil isn't trying to convince anyone, not even the retards. He's venting his frustrations at reading the Farms every day and seeing that we're not letting up. It's just like every other facet of his life where he never learns. He expects us to get bored and move on, and gets pissed and starts drinking when he finds out otherwise. Every fucking day.

That, and Phil damn well knows that his Champions account being found is the only reason anyone here would ever think to look for his LINE account. Nobody here even knew the app existed before it came up during the ongoing saga of Phil being chased from faction to faction, constantly pressed on his identity, finding it more and more difficult to maintain a semblance of innocence while still enjoying the game. Not to mention how incriminating it is from our POV the fact that after his Discord was discovered, THAT was when LINE came up.

But again, that's from the Farms' POV, not that of the paypigs. They don't know so much that they would look at an admission of the LINE account being his as tantamount to connecting the Champions account to himself. And in truth, it doesn't necessarily connect the Champions account to him, but he keeps acting like it does connect him if he doesn't pretend to not understand what people are talking about.

Which is why I think this is all about us and our discussions here. He keeps up on it all, and knows we know the truth, and can't stop himself from bitching about it, while being thoroughly unconvincing in his refutations, since he can't lie to save his life. His awareness won't let him.

Of course it's from him reading here. Someone nonchalantly mentioned the line app the other day in passing. No real discussion branched off from it if I remember correctly. If he never said a word, no one would have been the wiser.

If he never said a word, no one would have been the wiser.
Rule of thumb: The more Dave drones on about conspiracy theories, the more obvious it becomes that he is sofa king nervous about how true they are.

If he brushed it off as nothing from jump street - "LINE app? Pfft. *Snake hiss laugh* What the fuck is that? Thank you for the tip..." - and never addressed it again, it wouldn't stop us 'tractors from speculating and such, but it would sort of stymie SOME evidence digging because he stopped talking about it at all. And that goes for everything that has been called out/predicted here on the farms. He goes off on unhinged rant after unhinged rant about these conspiracy theories, only to later confirm them with the bullshit canned excuse.

"I had to lie to protect my family."

This is no different.

So...I think we all know the truth but I will add one more argument from Phil directly. He is a rhetorical suicide bomber. This man needs help to construct better lies. Logic and planning ahead helps a lot. I really doubt his IQ is higher than 100.

Phil's issue here is that he basically changed his story on the fly. This happens within ~25 seconds. First he has no fucking clue and then he "looked into this app". Also, he knows what "they" are accusing him of - he explained it already multiple times himself. Even in the same video, about one minute later! :story:

His only defense can be that he doesn't understand grammar / his own language. (English is my third language - don't kill me, I need to justify my mistakes)

This is just copy and pasted from the Youtube transcript:

apparently they're trying to prove that
i am using some kind of an application

for about a year they've been trying to

stuff to my knowledge i looked into this
app and this app apparently is a chat
app like you chat with people on it yeah
i guess you could say it's similar to
say discord only i guess discord
has voice and video too
i don't know
because i've never used discord for that
kind of stuff um

well it looks like we got a super
chatter who's derailing the stream i
will very briefly answer this because
it's actually a very generous super chat
it was 20 bucks
twitch and ash is asking about this line
app thing all right i'll very quickly
explain
people have conspiracy theories about me
all the time all right and they actually
go so far down the rabbit hole to try to
say stuff negative stuff about me that
they'll like grasp at any straw they
possibly can okay
so there this is just a situation where
years and years ago my cell phone number
was doxed on the internet against my
will it was an accident actually there's
a website put it out there and ever
since then people have kind of publicly
known my cell phone number okay many
years ago this is like i mean six plus
years ago
and
what happened is people are desperately
trying to tie me to things that would
get me in trouble and blah blah blah i'm
not going to get into that but
apparently they're trying to prove that
i am using some kind of an application

app like you chat with people on it yeah
i guess you could say it's similar to
say discord only i guess discord
has voice and video too i don't know
because i've never used discord for that
kind of stuff um
the only time i ever used discord was to
chat with people back when i had a
partnership with uh twitch and stuff
like that i had a contact while chatting
to a discord but outside of that i never
used it for anything else i don't even
know what line app is i guess it's just
chat i don't know maybe it does do those
other things i have no idea i don't know
if it's supposed to be like a competitor
or discord or not i don't use any of
these things i don't i don't know
anything about them um
but apparently someone found there's a
line app account that was registered
using my cell phone number and somehow
because of that that is definitive proof
that i'm playing some mobile game don't
ask me how i don't know how you make
that logic jump that even if i did have
a lineup account right that i used how
that proves that i play a mobile game i
have no idea
i don't no one's really explained that
at all but that's that's what they're
doing they're saying oh he because his
cell phone number is tied to this
account he's using a line app account
and that proves he's playing a mobile
game in this and none of it makes any
sense okay none of it it's just chaotic
nonsense it's what you do when again
when you're grasping at straws you just
make the most crazy tinfoil hat
connections okay
that's like saying
seriously this is like saying so
there's something over here written in
greek that's that's mean about you can
you disprove it well i can't read greek
so i can't disprove because i don't know
what it says
okay well then you can't disprove it so
that means it's true oh so because i
don't have a line app account because i
don't use it i don't know anything about
it i can't disprove what these people
are saying about this lineup account or
whatever if it exists doesn't exist i
have no idea so because of that it's
true and it proves everything they've
been saying apparently oh okay no here's
the deal i play games and have fun on
streams that's what i'm all about i'm
not going to sit here and waste my time
with their nonsense okay i'm really not
like i don't know how i could prove
or disprove what they're saying or you
know what i say i don't know how to
improve innocence but i don't even
understand it do you really think i'm
going to do hours of research on this
and how it works of course i'm not i
don't care i don't care about their
[ __ ] so
anyway that's that we're now out of
there aj styles actually says the lineup
was used mostly before discord you need
to factor on the authentication you send
them a text with a six digit code after
that you can register so i guess what
they're claiming is there's an account
that was registered with my cell phone
number and that's definitive proof that
i made that account even though i didn't
they're saying that's definitive proof
that i made the account even if i had an
account again i still don't understand
the logic jump that if there was a line
account that was one that i had made
that that proves that i play a mobile
game or something it doesn't even make
sense but they're they don't even need
to see what i mean when you have a
conspiracy like that you don't have to
connect the dots you just have all these
dots floating around and because there's
so many dots floating around somehow it
has this end game conspiracy that must
be true it's not but they're just not
that's how they do it they flood they
flood everything with so much white
noise that's confusing that there's no
way you can logically disprove any of it
and the next thing you know oh
everything that they're saying about you
is true
okay whatever you say
i'm gonna play this game and have fun
and ignore the nonsense okay
so thank you for for the uh the super
chat she actually did another super chat
he says i'm glad that thank you for just
answering because he doesn't want to
derail the stream but you know he knows
there's a lot of nonsense out there
about me so uh shout out to romy rowe
who has done a 4.20 tip is it goes to
show how shitty people's lives are when
they devote their own time to attempt to
make yours hell i appreciate your
streams but i don't give a [ __ ] what you
do in your personal life i just wish you
well and that's the thing as this is
nothing to do with my stream at all
nothing none of it has anything to do
with my streams it doesn't affect my
streams in any way it's all nonsense um
and the the truth of the matter is that
the truth of the matter is that these
people like that's what i mean like they
do they literally focus constantly on
just doing this stuff i don't care
i'm not going to sit here and oh well he
didn't take the time to disprove any of
it so it's all true no i'm just i just
have way more of a life than you that i
don't care about sitting here disproving
every nonsensical thing you say and do
about me
okay
i just got a whoppingly huge
um super sticker a 50 super sticker from
angel
what is that it is a hippo sitting in a
chair he flips backward in the chair and
the chair turns into a transformer and
he turns into like a voltron
mexi amalgamation what the hell is that
that is wild
i
thank you very much for the super chat
it's out of control it's probably as
wild as this game
thank you very much angel let me get you
up on the leaderboard i really
appreciate that and that will help me
long term so i thank you very much
all right i got people saying are you
gonna add that to the tips call well
it's not a tip so now
the tips goal is trying to raise tips
not super chats super shots help but the
rewards are for the tips call so no i'm
not adding it it's like are you gonna
add that pile that apple to the pile of
oranges over there no i'm not stupid i'm
not gonna stick the banana in the
avocados either okay let's continue
hairy butthole to me four dollars 20
cents and i can't imagine caring about a
stranger so much i go into random apps
to see if they have an account i don't
want to rule the stream further but it's
always shocking to see that behavior you
have no idea and i was talking about
this the other day when it came up as
part of my marathon we actually talked
about this in way more detail um i'm not
kidding you
people over the years you know my
information things like my email my
phone numbers etc have been registered
for every possible thing you can think
of on the internet any website any
forums any
business mailings email addresses chain
letters all you know what i mean like
you have no clue these people just go
around registering accounts in my name
with my basic info
now to some of these accounts stick
around and some not probably probably
some of them need that verification and
some don't but there's literally like i
would argue
500 fake accounts on the internet at the
very least how do i know because i get
all the emails and stuff from it i see
it i click here to confirm do this do
that i get a million of these a day so
you know what i mean like how anyone
could think that anything is proof of
anything like that it doesn't make any
sense there's been so many people over
the years who've been faking me
that to believe that anything like that
could be truthful is it's just
it's folly you know what i'm saying
so yeah it's pretty stupid isn't it okay

so i really don't understand the ins and
outs of what what they're accusing me of
but they've been doing this on and off
for about a year they've been trying to
like accuse me of having this app and
stuff to my knowledge i looked into this
app and this app apparently is a chat
app like you chat with people on it yeah
i guess you could say it's similar to
say discord only i guess discord
has voice and video too i don't know
because i've never used discord for that
kind of stuff um
the only time i ever used discord was to
chat with people back when i had a
partnership with uh twitch and stuff
like that i had a contact while chatting
to a discord but outside of that i never
used it for anything else i don't even
know what line app is i guess it's just
chat i don't know maybe it does do those
other things i have no idea i don't know
if it's supposed to be like a competitor
or discord or not i don't use any of
these things i don't i don't know
anything about them um
but apparently someone found there's a
line app account that was registered
using my cell phone number and somehow
because of that that is definitive proof
that i'm playing some mobile game don't
ask me how i don't know how you make
that logic jump that even if i did have
a lineup account right that i used how
that proves that i play a mobile game i
have no idea
i don't no one's really explained that
at all but that's that's what they're
doing they're saying oh he because his
cell phone number is tied to this
account he's using a line app account
and that proves he's playing a mobile
game in this and none of it makes any
sense okay none of it it's just chaotic
nonsense it's what you do when again
when you're grasping at straws you just
make the most crazy tinfoil hat
connections okay
that's like saying
seriously this is like saying so
there's something over here written in
greek that's that's mean about you can
you disprove it well i can't read greek
so i can't disprove because i don't know
what it says
okay well then you can't disprove it so
that means it's true oh so because i
don't have a line app account because i
don't use it i don't know anything about
it i can't disprove what these people
are saying about this lineup account or
whatever if it exists doesn't exist i
have no idea so because of that it's
true and it proves everything they've
been saying apparently oh okay no here's
the deal i play games and have fun on
streams that's what i'm all about i'm
not going to sit here and waste my time
with their nonsense okay i'm really not
like i don't know how i could prove
or disprove what they're saying or you
know what i say i don't know how to
improve innocence but i don't even
understand it do you really think i'm
going to do hours of research on this
and how it works of course i'm not i
don't care i don't care about their
[ __ ] so
anyway that's that we're now out of
there aj styles actually says the lineup
was used mostly before discord you need
to factor on the authentication you send
them a text with a six digit code after
that you can register so i guess what
they're claiming is there's an account
that was registered with my cell phone
number and that's definitive proof that
i made that account even though i didn't
they're saying that's definitive proof
that i made the account even if i had an
account again i still don't understand
the logic jump that if there was a line
account that was one that i had made
that that proves that i play a mobile
game or something it doesn't even make
sense but they're they don't even need
to see what i mean when you have a
conspiracy like that you don't have to
connect the dots you just have all these
dots floating around and because there's
so many dots floating around somehow it
has this end game conspiracy that must
be true it's not but they're just not
that's how they do it they flood they
flood everything with so much white
noise that's confusing that there's no
way you can logically disprove any of it
and the next thing you know oh
everything that they're saying about you
is true
okay whatever you say
i'm gonna play this game and have fun
and ignore the nonsense okay
so thank you for for the uh the super
chat she actually did another super chat
he says i'm glad that thank you for just
answering because he doesn't want to
derail the stream but you know he knows
there's a lot of nonsense out there
about me so uh shout out to romy rowe
who has done a 4.20 tip is it goes to
show how shitty people's lives are when
they devote their own time to attempt to
make yours hell i appreciate your
streams but i don't give a [ __ ] what you
do in your personal life i just wish you
well and that's the thing as this is
nothing to do with my stream at all
nothing none of it has anything to do
with my streams it doesn't affect my
streams in any way it's all nonsense um
and the the truth of the matter is that
the truth of the matter is that these
people like that's what i mean like they
do they literally focus constantly on
just doing this stuff i don't care
i'm not going to sit here and oh well he
didn't take the time to disprove any of
it so it's all true no i'm just i just
have way more of a life than you that i
don't care about sitting here disproving
every nonsensical thing you say and do
about me
okay
i just got a whoppingly huge
um super sticker a 50 super sticker from
angel
what is that it is a hippo sitting in a
chair he flips backward in the chair and
the chair turns into a transformer and
he turns into like a voltron
mexi amalgamation what the hell is that
that is wild
i
thank you very much for the super chat
it's out of control it's probably as
wild as this game
thank you very much angel let me get you
up on the leaderboard i really
appreciate that and that will help me
long term so i thank you very much
all right i got people saying are you
gonna add that to the tips call well
it's not a tip so now
the tips goal is trying to raise tips
not super chats super shots help but the
rewards are for the tips call so no i'm
not adding it it's like are you gonna
add that pile that apple to the pile of
oranges over there no i'm not stupid i'm
not gonna stick the banana in the
avocados either okay let's continue
hairy butthole to me four dollars 20
cents and i can't imagine caring about a
stranger so much i go into random apps
to see if they have an account i don't
want to rule the stream further but it's
always shocking to see that behavior you
have no idea and i was talking about
this the other day when it came up as
part of my marathon we actually talked
about this in way more detail um i'm not
kidding you
people over the years you know my
information things like my email my
phone numbers etc have been registered
for every possible thing you can think
of on the internet any website any
forums any
business mailings email addresses chain
letters all you know what i mean like
you have no clue these people just go
around registering accounts in my name
with my basic info
now to some of these accounts stick
around and some not probably probably
some of them need that verification and
some don't but there's literally like i
would argue
500 fake accounts on the internet at the
very least how do i know because i get
all the emails and stuff from it i see
it i click here to confirm do this do
that i get a million of these a day so
you know what i mean like how anyone
could think that anything is proof of
anything like that it doesn't make any
sense there's been so many people over
the years who've been faking me
that to believe that anything like that
could be truthful is it's just
it's folly you know what i'm saying
so yeah it's pretty stupid isn't it okay

He doesn’t snort when he’s lying

I've said it before and I'll say it again, anything I say here is most likely negated by him denying that he ever used LINE at all.

I lived in Japan for few years (I'm not a weeb, lol, it was for work). Obviously LINE is the Asian equivalent of Whatsapp so it is predominantly used as communication app. However, at almost every single restaurant in Japan you can get discounts by adding the restaurant's LINE account; which essentially just signs you up to a mailing list on the app. I think most people will know this, but a large amount of Japanese people go to study in the US, specifically, due to the proximity, the west coast. Mainly Seattle and LA in my personal experience (anecdotal obviously). I'm not American, and I haven't visited Seattle but one possible explanation is that due to the large amount of Japs there, restaurants might offer the same kinds of perks through LINE, particularly Japanese restaurants. As such, perhaps DSP created an account for getting deals and forgot about it. Obviously I'm playing Devil's advocate here but its important to consider other explanations. Of course, he has denied using the app, but my hometown has a lot of schemes at restaurants where you have to download apps to get savings and I couldn't remember the name of any of them.

Personally, I completely believe he used it for WWE Champions but again, for the sake of thoroughness its important to consider other explanations.

Plausible, but why would he need to deny or lie about having the account then?
