Phil made himself look like a complete dislikable asshole in front of an audience of people who normally don't watch him for a bit more money than usual. I suspect many Wings trolls watched this too and might think that Phil is the bigger asshole with the more ridiculous reactions and takes these days.

Exactly, furthermore, those people were watching him knowing exactly who he is - a failure and a scrub on the level of wings.

I think a VERY important thing got exposed about Phil with this react.
His overwhelming need to continue his addiction. He is the perfect study in what happens when it goes untreated. When it has no life shattering consequences.


For Phil the move across the country was a chance to have an easy life.
To be a fly on the wall when Panda left. I think for Phil thiswas DEEP. He paid for he phone bill for a reason.
I theorize it was a bribe for her to keep her mouth shut.
There will be no accountability and no admission of anything in our future. After all, why would he? After the de-partnering he did not have to really tighten his belt.
(Not in the things that matter- we know Phil is most comfortable watching gmeplay, and being a hermit is a okay with him.)

That "big nosed piece of shit" and Howie betrayed HIM. Those things should be resolved behind the scenes! (Prefferable with John seeing reason and still making Phil money being Phil's friend.

What IS a friend though? Phil understands not this concept. My favorite quote was "Wings pushed his friends away to because of his depression."
That and the rant talking about how it was Kyle's and Woody's fault THEY did not stay friends with Wings. Why though? The reason was so small, it was about a trip?

Verdict:
I was torn for a few hours but now I really liked this react.
We know Phil will beat this to death.
We know how much money Phil makes during this does not matter- it all goes up in pulls/ shit out by Phil (got to hit that scat portion).
This will make Phil expect more and more money. This will make him look forward to the next time he can have an infusion of money.
He will expect tips in the week, and what that expecttion is unfufilled he WILL expect it during these events.
So he will either increase his begging in the week, or increase the frequency of these events.
These events will spotlight what a malignant cunt he is, and show us the true desperation.
One morething. Phil fence sat a lot of his points because he reads the chat. He is ready to go with the popular opinion within a moments notice.

More like when the subject is too stupid to heed the warnings from the consequences they've already paid. Phil is behind on his taxes and has a bankruptcy on his record because he won't stop playing Champions. That's not insignificant, not even in his world. He doesn't get to lean on credit anymore, and unless he quits that game, being stripped of everything else by his tax debt is inevitable. Will take years, but it's going to happen, if he doesn't stop. He's already feeling the stress of it, and not acting accordingly.

The biggest elephant in the room for why Phil will never do his own or take on someone who confronts him is really due to money. As far as streamer personalities far more hideous and detestable people have come and gone, but Phil's longevity as a lolcow is out of his control simply because he's managed to turn something as simple as streaming video games into a financial labyrinth of conspiracies. His gaming addiction, was he getting cat fished, what's up with his donators, the chargebacks. the ludicrous giveaways, and somehow being able to make mountains out of molehills for what it is. It's public record he turned streaming into a job that made him -500,000$

Phil is fine with covering jerking it on stream, getting ass blasted on Street Fighter, and countless memes about him sucking at games. But he shuts out the conversation when it comes too money. And keep in mind this guy has a degree in finance/business, he's literally a subject matter expert on finance, you'd think he'd have it together but he makes 5$ chargeback donation sound like it's life and death.

It would be similar to the reactions of his own videos. Babbling forever and tooting his own horn about things nobody cares about, how he's changed since then to be such a pahsitive person, and ignoring everything he's uncomfortable about which makes it boring.

But he'd get a good amount of contributions from a handful of retards, so I don't see why he's avoiding it.

He's had a troubling history trying to deal with the emergence of TIHYDPs. At first when they first started being made he tried to take down the videos on YouTube for "stealing his content" but that didn't last very long. Then I believe he tried directly uploading ones made by other creators onto his own channel since they were "his", but he didn't do that for very long either, mostly since he was picky with the ones that made him look bad and they didn't really accumulate a lot of views, since for the most part, the people who watch TIHYDPs would not be a typical viewer of Phil's channel.

And then his final stab at attempting to utilise the popularity of those sorts of videos, was allowing his fans to make their own version of TIHYDPs for him, and he then uploaded some onto his channel, but those TIHYDPs completely missed the point with what made Phil entertaining and bearable to watch in the first place, everything in them had Phil in a good light, no rage, fails or frustrations to speak of in them, so they weren't really TIHYDPs at all, his efforts were fruitless on multiple occasions to try and use them to better his brand/channel and make money off of them.

I'm sure for the most part the fact that people keep making them and make revenue off of them still pisses Phil the fuck off, even though he won't admit it and totally "doesn't care about them" anymore because you know, Phil's a positive guy! Why would he be focused on the negative, right?

LTG, DSP and Wings all could've banked on their detractors. Even a "VS" stream against their biggest enemies. DSP especially if he made an effort to connect with people could be a millionaire by now
