Well yeah. And I completely missed the chart underneath it which declares Lyndon B. "Keep them niggers voting Democrat for 200 years" Johnson an anti-racist. Like this is the same guy whose own biographer says he studied and knew how to correctly pronounce "nigra" in different parts of the South, the same guy who bombed the shit out of Vietnam in the name of propping up a dictatorship that couldn't stop shooting each other, the same dude who by every account was insanely racist and only supported civil rights because he knew that was where the power was at. And Nixon was also relatively racist too, although not to the point of calling people niggers all the time like LBJ was. You'd think these far-left academics would call him out on it since he's the one who did the whole Southern Strategy thing to win racist Southern Democrats over to the Republican Party.

Another sign that this ranking is bullshit. I pretty sure you can find a ton of quotes of LBJ using the N word many times not just the keep Niggers voting democrat for 200 years. So the fact he's labeled anti-racist reveals what bullshit this is.

I'm pretty sure if he was hunting the white house he would openly call the Obamas niggers.

Oh I'm dumb lol, it said it right there. Were all of his policies even antiracist? I would think that to be considered outright antiracist you would need to do more to live up to modern standards of antiracism.

Leading a war which (at the end of the day) stopped half the country from enslaving people based on their race is a pretty big anti-racist policy. I'm pretty sure one could overlook many faults when that is taken in perspective.

That said, yes, this list is bullshit. Anyone who genuinely believes Trump is some sort of arch-racist is delusional.

Still hypocritical to call Lincoln a racist yet call LBJ a anti-racist just because he surpporting the civil rights movement. Even though he was arch racist who only surpporting it because he wanted to make black people vote Democrat the next 200 years (funny how is legacy has succeeded, since blacks still vote dems despite not improving their live conditions throughout the years).

FDR, against all advise from all of his advisors (for cultural reasons once WWII started none were, were going to, or were even recruited to spy or take up arms against the US), locked up every single Japanese-American in concentration camps as a bit of political theater. He's "institutionally neutral". LOL

I will play devil's advocate and point out that not all Japanese-Americans were interned because it was a policy for the West Coast, and Hawaii was largely untouched. You also wouldn't know about Japanese Americans turning traitor because most of them weren't given the opportunity, given their internment. Also, some Japanese in Hawaii actually did help a Japanese pilot who participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor escape, learning about the attack in the process and not telling the other Hawaiians. The Hawaiians feted him at first but confronted them when they learned about Pearl Harbor. They took him captive and the Japanese Hawaiians attacked the others in order to help the enemy combatant escape. They did fire upon the native Hawaiians. This was at Ni'ihau. Now you know that some Japanese Americans did, in fact, take up arms against Americans to assist the Japanese war effort.

Well, I agree that's dumb as hell, although LBJ, racist that he was, was a crude and vulgar man who routinely used racial epithets, as well as pretty much other profanities and obscenities he had in his vocabulary, and would force his subordinates to have meetings with him in the bathroom while he was shitting, among other awful ways of establishing dominance.

After Pearl Harbor the call went out to return to Japan or you'd be considered the worst kind of race traitor. Because of Japanese imperial hubris there were very few windows where we couldn't decrypt pretty much all of their communications.

We had a good handle on where and who their spies were, and they were all white.

So yes, you're right, I overgeneralized which Japanese got locked up, and yes, for a short time after the surprise attack shit happened, but they weren't going to make their "everyone get back to Japan to fight" before their surprise attack, to be fair.

It's absurd LBJ is heralded as a saint despite all the shit he did that was detrimental to the nation (Student loans for example) and the fact he was an oppurtunistic scumbag yet Nixon, with all his flaws, is seen widely as a devil who gave zero shits about the Constitution or laws whatsoever. Not a defence of Nixon, he did ruin the economy by making the dollar fiat and laching us to the petrodollar and started relations with commie china by the way.

FDR is the one who destroyed the gold standard. It was done and dusted by the time Nixon was in office.
