wikimedia commons is the absolute junk drawer of the internet. I know gross people posting smut to the site is old news, but I just found the hidden category "Nudity and sexuality-related deletion requests/kept" and jesus christ.

what's really fascinating clicking on the submitter's name and seeing their other uploads/talk page. some people are treating the commons as social media/personal photo album. also some of the photos are sourced to flickr accounts, sometimes with real names attached to them.

also I found this exchange, some kid trying to take his nudes down years later and a turbosperg explaining why that's not ok.

We all know that Wikipedia has a lot of degenerates in their midst but it seems that they have managed to shoo away or at least leash those obsessed with posting porn on things that really doesn't need pornographic pictures, like anatomy.
