Here's a mildly interesting one. Some wikipedia editor for various reasons, decided to change the name of an article called "the cave of the negroes" to the much less catchy, Katsuyama killing incident. On the talk page, there's even use of the N word!

Not a single mention of racism in the article on this topic. Amazing. The 1945 Katsuyama killing incident was the murder of three African-American United States Marines in Katsuyama near Nago, Okinawa after the Battle of Okinawa in June 1945. Residents of Katsuyama had reportedly killed the three Marines for their repeated rape of village women during occupation of Okinawa and hid their bodies in a nearby cave out of fear for retaliation.
And why can't I get that nice URL unfurl?
Gotta get that propagandas in, even when it is wrong. Why is this an article?

Power Line is an American conservative[1][2][3] or right-leaning[4] political blog,[5] founded in May 2002. Its posts were originally written by three lawyers who attended Dartmouth College together, namely John H. Hinderaker, Scott W. Johnson, and Paul Mirengoff. The site is published by Publir LLC, founded by Joseph Malchow, also a Dartmouth graduate.
The site gained recognition for its role in covering the Killian documents story that aired during the 2004 Presidential campaign about forged documents relating to President George W. Bush's term of service in the Texas Air National Guard.[6]
Michigan Liberal (MichiganLiberal.com) is a defunct American political blog, publishing news and opinion from a liberal or progressive point of view. It functions as a discussion forum and group blog for a variety of Michigan netroots activists, whose efforts are primarily directed toward influencing and strengthening the Democratic Party.
Michigan Liberal was founded in 2005 by Matt Ferguson,[1] and modeled after the national site Daily Kos. Originally co-owned and run by Laura Packard and Jon Koller, and from 2007 until 2017 the owner and editor was Eric Baerren. Former contributors include Marcy Wheeler, Larry Kestenbaum, and Mark Grebner. In 2017, the Michigan Liberal brand[2] was transferred to convicted felon Will Westerfield[3] (aka: Charles William Westerfield), who was then promptly arrested in May 2017 for check fraud
I remember calling that first guy, Hinderaker, Assrocket back in the day. Good times.Another example, some long dead literally who? blog called 'Michigan Liberal' that seems like a great candidate for speedy delete
Kurombo literally means nigger in Japanese. It's the Cave of the Niggers. Here's a mildly interesting one. The only blogs with major political import have nothing. Where's Unqualified Reservations? Love or hate Yarvin, modern politics is dramatically influenced by that blog.Yes, I remember alot of these people, the WARBLOGGERS from before the 2008 election but they are for the most part completely irrelevant and non notable (but not as non notable as Chris Chan and Knight's Cross Winners I guess).
The few blogs from the last 10-15 years that are probably worth having an article - sites like the Volokh Conspiracy (who I always hated) and the even more evil Little Green Footballs (there is literally nothing redeeming about that insane man who runs it, shilled for every horrible war during the Bush years) both have really bad short articles.
Reading the article I've got to wonder, about why the US Army just immediately accepted that the 3 soldiers deserted, on Okinowa in 1945! Or how after decades of occupation nobody in the Army thought to make the connection between the cave of the negroes and the 3 missing soldiers.Kurombo literally means nigger in Japanese. It's the Cave of the Niggers.
I am actually a fan of Eugene Volokh. Do you like DC v. Heller? Do you like the Second Amendment? Because Volokh basically made the academic argument that led to the Second Amendment being adopted by the Supreme Court as an individual right.
Because nigger soldiers raped a lot of Japanese women, and over the years the Okinawans and the local garrison have (largely) been allowed to deal with the problem quietly in their own ways to prevent diplomatic trouble. You wouldn't believe the amount of hate there is for the US Military there due to wartime and occupation rapes, but the government wants the base to stay so it does what it needs to.Reading the article I've got to wonder, about why the US Army just immediately accepted that the 3 soldiers deserted, on Okinowa in 1945! Real top notch stuff.Twisted Element, a gay bar in Calgary, Alberta, similarly went through bureaucratic hassles as it attempted to shift its business model from a nightclub to a pub-style restaurant so that it could remain in operation.
In early July, a beach party on Fire Island reportedly attended by many gay men, received criticism for violating social distancing and masking protocols.
Despite numerous challenges during the pandemic, LGBTQ+ communities have shown resiliency and found ways to adapt through personal strength, community care, and acceptance.
Described as "massive" by Alexander Grey, this first anniversary edition of the Furtean Times included the long-awaited results of the Furry Sexuality Survey, the only survey to focus directly on the point of furry sex lives. Other features included an interview with Shirik Draguinea, a report on choosing the perfect fursona, a review of A Doemain of Our Own, a versed article on the definition of furry music and the inclusion of the recently ended Furry Guru.
I love when you don't even have to read a single word, but just the formatting itself tells you you're looking at a conversation that consists entirely of full retard. The back and forth between MortalCrispy and Bilorv was a headache and a half. Assuming MortalCrispy browses this thread, please don't waste your time on this shit.
