Ah, okay. Links to non-existent articles are red but turn blue if the article is created. I get it now.

But I suppose it would have been too much to ask for them to have just used an unambiguous phrase that didn't require explanation. "This user has created 7 new articles about women." Wow, much admirable my dude, but gender is a social construct, bigot.
