Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

Epic Movie used to have a separate article for its characters a long time ago. I remember seeing one of those Wikipedia archive sites that had a copy of this article. It was a poorly-written piece of crap, and the fact that it was for a shitty parody film makes it even funnier to me. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find this archive anymore, but if I do I'll link it.

That sentence caused so much drama they had to get another picture of him to stop an edit war.

An article about dumb shit that could simply be described as "two dumbass countries almost went to war with each other over a single dead pig".

Oh, look who has involved: George Pickett, known for future dumb shit in the Civil War called Pickett's Charge, a disaster on the level of the Charge of the Light Brigade. Despite the name Pickett's Charge, though, it probably wasn't actually his fault.

None of this is dumb shit in the sense that it shouldn't be on Wikipedia, though.

This is just one example of the kind of brony autism that's usually seen on TV Tropes. There are dozens hyper-spergy articles on this technocolor pony commercial.
The worst example was how one time, Wikipedia had an article on every single episode. Most of these eventually got deleted, and considering how they seem to insist on having articles of every single episode of The Simpsons and South Park, this really speaks volume for terminally autistic it is.
(I accept my late ratings for this.)

Tommy Sotomayor has an article (archive) that's just one sentence long and a shit-ton of links, references, and categories. The Wiki markup accounts for the vast majority of the text.
The entire fucking article said:
Tommy Sotomayor is an American radio and internet talk show host, YouTube personality, social and political commentator, men's rights activist and film producer.

Here's some hilarious :autism: from the talk page (archive):
No mention of white supremacy?

All major networks and anti-racism organizations have acknowledged that Pepe the Frog is a White Nationalist Symbol. Southern Poverty Law Center has also recognized Pepe the Frog as a white supremacist meme.
That is ridiculous. The simple fact that existed before doesn't mean it has not been appropriated. The links need included and selectively including clinton's website and saying she is the one "insinuating" is clearly false.
Hate symbol

Just saw at least two reliable sources refer to using Pepe the Frog as symbol of support for alt right and/or white nationalist hate causes. Hardball with Chris Matthews (2016-09-12); NBC News refers to it as a "popular white nationalist symbol". In the NBC news story, Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center is given as the primary source.
