I got some fresh historical revisionism for you guys

Here's a little snippet where they try to insinuate lincoln had no religious affiliation. you know the man that evoked god quite a bit in his speeches and arguments against slavery

"There have been four Nontrinitarian presidents, and a single Roman Catholic president (John F. Kennedy). No president has openly identified as atheist. Three presidents—Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson—had no denominational or religious affiliation."

It's not exactly untrue. He was attacked during the election for his tepid views on Christianity and it was alleged that he was a "freethinker" (read: anti-theist) by the Democrats. Whether that was true or not, he didn't publicly avow a religious affiliation except to circulate pamphlets saying that he affirmed the scriptures to stave off those attacks.

I'm not suggesting putting that on an encyclopedia but we all know they are all atheists, lol.

Also, isn't Obama an "unaffiliated" Christian too?

He was United Church of Christ before resigning membership probably because of crazy shit his previous pastor Jeremiah Wright had said. So far as I know he never officially affiliated with another church while in office but used the Camp David chapel, as Dubya had previously. It's not really political feasible to affiliate with any but the most milquetoast churches these days because any kind of fire and brimstone crazy talk is going to be hung around your neck.

Not sure it counts, but Jefferson Davis probably wasn't baptised when young, such that he was conditionally baptised for his second marriage. After that he attended Episcopalian services with his wife.

Kim Jong-un's talk page sure seems informative right now.
