Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

she has a job as a software engineer. this one editor isn't some unique outlier. the people who run wikipedia are all like this and they do it for free.
There's also GorrillaWarfare on the farms who brigaded the original Chris incest thread for a while and started editing the wiki. Probably was a troll, judging from her reactions in that thread and general activism I wouldn't put it beyond her tho

I think it's her. After I made this post I'm pretty sure she deleted all her posts here, and the mods later restored them. She also deleted the edits she made on Wikipedia that I screen-capped

I'm pretty sure you have to be a senior editor to do that or at least have some pull. I'm not an editor or as familiar as the other people in this thread, so maybe I am reading this wrong.

On June 25th GorillaWarfare made an edit, and a few days later I noticed GorrillaWarfare deleted posts here. I checked Wikipedia

and I couldn't find any evidence of GorillaWarfare editing Yaniv's page at all.

Maybe I'm just a skitzoid retard, but it seems probable to me.

We noticed previously that you seem to have a vested interest in Kiwi Farms. How does it feel to be a member of a site known for (and I quote) "ongoing harassment and stalking, including real-life harassment by users"?

Maybe she might be deserving of a thread. Still not sure if she warrants one or not but I wouldn't be surprised if she has skeletons in her closet.

Why the fuck are you reading about celebrities' dresses?
Indeed, there are plenty of iconic outfits that define fashion as an art form, and these are more worthy of individual article. Christian Dior's original New Look dress, Schiaparelli's Lobster Dress, Yves Saint Laurent's Mondrian Dress, and, in recent times, Kawakubo's "Lumps and Bumps" collection, Miyake's "APOC", Chalayan's Coffee-Table Dress and other innovations of his. All these are frequently discussed in history of fashion, while every single red-carpet outfit is forgotten the week after.

And no one even cared what the hell is "Climate Dress".

GorillaWarfare just added this paragraph to the Kiwi Farms article:

Harassment campaigns by Kiwi Farms users have contributed to the suicides of three individuals. The Kiwi Farms community considers it a goal to drive its targets to suicide, and has celebrated such deaths with a counter on the website. They have used social media reporting systems to mass-report posts by harassment targets in which they've expressed suicidal thoughts or intentions, with the goal of reducing the possibility their targets receive help.

It's beyond parody at this point. Why doesn't GW have a thread here yet?

They sure love confusing KiwiFarms with Baphomet, huh? Probably helps that nobody outside of 8chan users know what /baph/ was, and I'm pretty sure almost nobody liked them.

So not only absolutely made-up bullshit, but mind-reading on top of that.

"Encyclopedia." Lmao.

I know it’s projection, but hasn’t Wikipedia already been exposed for only making pages like these if they just tow left-wing (or hardcore left-wing) politics? How many people will visit KF’s page on Wiki and actually care about this site because of it?

It's a "reliable" source they can use to claim Kiwifarms is evil to ordinary people who don't know what KF is.

Lazy journalists and lazy anybodies use Wikipedia to do their thinking for them. For example, someone at your bank looks you up and sees that you're a meanie white supremacist who harasses brave, stunning nonbinaries, so they close your bank account while you're travelling away from home.

This reads like bait, like she is trying to attract attention of the farms. Those supposed sources she uses for the death counter even look like they have fuck all on the Farms and I'm willing to bet she at least lurks here and cooms to the idea of being harassed by naughty trolls here. Best not to give her a thread unless she's exposed as a kiddie diddler of female sex pest or something.

The guy who wrote the book she cites is from NZ so he's clearly a reliable source. He's also a retard though.

Using my Orthodox ways I have a copy of Kevin Veale's book. I don't want to get Null in trouble for hosting the entire thing but here are the pages she cited.

His citations are utter crap, if you couldn't tell from "lightninggrrl". Ambreen is her wordpress blog. Fogel is here. "lightninggrrl" is a fucking forum post. Pless is a blog post defending Nyberg. "Social Justice Viv" is a broken tumblr. This is just source laundering. These wouldn't be acceptable sources on their own but since they mashed into a book (where they aren't actually appraised for quality) they work for Wikipedia rules. The quality of this source for an article could be challenged and even on WP it might get thrown out. It's straight shit. It isn't really a "secondary source" like WP requires because it doesn't actually treat the sources at all, just parrots the claims.

Modern day academics are deserving of their framed paper being revoked.
