Dungeons & Dragons: Wizards of the Coast Removes Problematic Lore - Wizards of the Coast continues to excise potentially problematic content from Dungeons and Dragons books to address issues of system racism.

Screw it, I'm making a setting where the world is run by sneaky, conniving Dwarvish (or High Elvish, haven't decided yet) bankers who brainwash the noble humans and halflings into living with filthy, stinking orcs and half-orcs who flip their shit the second one of their own gets killed by one of the King's Guard for robbing a guild, radical extremist Dark Elves who wish to enforce the will of Lolth through terrorism and Shariah, and subversive, amoral, degenerate Tieflings who seek tear down all common sense and Lathanderite morals and normalize the worship of demons and sex with anything with a hole.

Go with the High Elves Since..they could have a natural rivalry and animosity with the Drow

If they wanted to change the drow, they need to look to the past.

Queen of the Demonweb Pits 2.0 is where it is at.

A massive 7 module or more adventure. Orcs to Ogres to Giants to Underdark to The Demonweb Pits.

Overthrowing Grummsh and allowing a new Orcish God who's down with agriculture and civilization to grab a whole handful of power.

Then, the final climax, facing Lolth herself in the Demon Pits AGAIN. It's been proven she can be killed, this time, while she is dead, before she can be reborn, a new goddess for the drow, maybe even her daughter/son, can surge up and split off a HUGE section of drow society.

Then do the whole drow civil war, the holy war between the two sides, with even the new orcish god getting in on it, the elven gods supporting the daughter of Lolth, and even the dwarvish gods getting in on it.

you could do a huge 12 module upheaval of what was always seen as something that could not be changed.

Shattering the old status quo once and for all.

A new orcish God, a new goblin god, a new kobold god, a new drow god, the destruction of the Deuragar pantheon, Lolth being thrown down and her power split.

It could involve the players, it could make sense, and most of all, IT CAN WORK.

But that would require more than virtue signalling and hitting FIND/REPLACE in a word processor.

As soon as your player party ever kills an Orc bandit, have the entirety of the Orcish population in all the cities react by setting the cities on fire, and looting/murdering/raping all non-Orcs. People blame the player party and demand adventuring be outlawed. Afterall, why couldn't the adventurers deal with those bandits who were trying to kill them non-lethally?

Then have them put on a public trial where all of the sides are just incompetent, and the orcs warn if your party doesn't get the death sentence, they will riot again, and personally kill the jury(just random NPC's).

I find it funny while these people praise the changes they pretty much turn around and go "This is the best" when it comes to the whole Cthulhu mythos which does has racist history.

Because these people actually ARE worshippers of the Elder Gods and their (((anti-racist))) activism is just their means of sowing chaos in preparation for the summoning.

Well yes and no, Lovecraft's racial outbursts were closer to a mental illness thing than genuine hatred.
