It's only a few days away before it begins. Talk about anything that got you excited, disappointed or whatever response you have when it starts. Which games you looking forward for see?

I hope the release dates for Persona 5 and Xenoblade X are revealed as both of them, I'm pretty hyped for. I don't know if CyberConnect2 is going to be present, but I hope they announces some of the projects they working on that's not Naruto.

Almost forgot, I'm also interested in Dark Cloud 3. Level 5 is revealing more information about it. That's going to be fun since me and my brother played the hell out of the second game years ago. Hopefully it be good.

Doesn't Valve have a show scheduled?

If "THAT" really is announced, the Internet will shatter, just end the world there, Fallout 4 has been bested.

Here's the E3 2015 schedule from IGN:

No doubt that I'll be watching Nintendo's Digital Event on the 16th and the Smash Direct this Sunday. To me, Nintendo has done a very good job with their presentations since 2010. I'll also watch Microsoft's for the sheer cheesiness and bleh quality that they've been doing for the past few years and I'll try to watch Sony's if my time at the gym doesn't get in the way. As for the other presentations, I'm probably going to ignore them; I've always found the ones from the big three to be the most important at E3.

And I cannot wait to see the Nintendo World Championships, along with the slew of announcements that'll come after the main conferences!

First I've heard about Dark Cloud 3, I've suddenly become interested in E3 this year.

Oh man I love E3 live streams. Get drunk and laugh at these guys propping up gems like Just Dance 19 and Call of Duty Black Cops 5.

Gonna another good year.

Looks like there be more information on a very recently announced 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors next week. I don't expect they made a handheld version of this.

I'm actually planning on being a bit of a sperg this E3 by literally taking Monday & Tuesday off work to watch the conferences. not that I'm super excited about them, but I figure I'd rather be relaxing at home in my wingback than trying to stream the E3 conferences at my office while people might barge in and demand I take care of something for them while Nintendo shows off the new Zelda game or something.

Here are my predictions:

Bethesda - Fallout 4 gameplay reveal, Dishonored 2, Doom gameplay reveal, Battlecry, thanks the fans for ESO success, new DLC for ESO announced. Possible new surprise IP.

Microsoft - Phil Spencer will have at least seven unique occassions when he spaces out and stares into the stage lights. Halo 5 and new Gears of War official announcement, Tomb Raider footage, Call of Duty footage, will talk about indies, have an indie sizzle reel, will announce already announced new 1TB XBONE console.

EA - Once again, the most boring of the conferences. Will talk about sports games for half of it, then more Call of Duty crap. Star Wars Battlefront, Will show a little bit more of the upcoming Mass Effect game, which will divide the ME fanbase because of course it will.

Ubisoft- Host Aisha Tyler will go out of her way to make fun of Kotaku for not being invited. Assassin's Creed with game developer's on the stage apologizing for the AC:Unity fuck up. Show will be largely based on their Tom Clany games, with a surprise announcement of Watch_Dogs 2: Watch Diggity Dog. Probably a handful of indie titles sprinkled in and maybe a Rabbits game to pad out the conference.

Sony- Much ado about nothing. Will talk on end about how much Sony provides for their fans and how wonderful they all are. Will talk about their services and have nothing really to show that isn't also being released on XBONE this year or on PC except Uncharted 4. Might be announcing Dark Souls 3. Any case, Sony fantards will gobble up whatever is given to them. Oh, and Vita will be mentioned for all of 30 seconds.

Nintendo - Honestly one of the conferences I'm most interested in seeing but probably the one I'm least invested in. Iwata will ask us to "Please Understand" and reggie will continue to milk a years-old meme. Latest Zelda footage, Star fox footage, another derivation from Mario. by any luck a new Metroid game... a GOOD one. Possibly a surprise announcement from Ninja Theory or Platinum Games.

Square Enix - More on Tomb Raider, more on FFXV. I'm being woefully hopeful they announce a new Sleeping Dogs title (and not a mobile version) or a new PROPER Hitman title. Will also be showing off Just Cause 3.

PC - Brought to us by AMD of all companies... Will be showing of XCOM 2 for certain. Probably will be yammering on about indie titles for a while and show us games that can be run on a Windows XP and then tell us we will need to buy a Windows 10. Expect the PC Master Race to not really understand this is a games conference and instead end the conferences with a lot of technical specs and crap.

DARK CLOUD 3!??!?!?!? HOLY SHITBALLS FORGET EVERYTHING ELSE

I keep heard rumors about it and Level 5 is revealing a game next week so it could be Dark Cloud. I really hope it's that case. Level 5 been pretty good recently.

Bethesda conference along with XPlay show (I think) will begin in 10
Haven't watched one of these in forever and I haven't seen XPlay in forever so pretty hype right now.

I didn't even think XPlay was still on, then again I gave up on G4 years ago.

While the fanboys cry about Fallout 4's graphics, somewhere out there in aGGro land, an SJW is crying because Fallout 4 only has a cis-white male in the trailer and it ain't enough until they get the option to play as a transracial dragonkin. Anita Sarkeesian finishes her series only to bitch about the trailer being male protagonist only.

I don't really see the amazement behind it. Sure, both Half-Life games were pretty amazing, but what's the next step? First one had unorthodox adventure gameplay, second one had very impressive physics at the time, but I'm finding it hard to determine what would stretch the bounds of a third title without relying solely on fans having rose-coloured glasses.

I mean, look at how overwhelmingly hyped Starcraft and Diablo were when modern sequels were announced, and look how mellow they turned out to be. Now I liked the Half-Life games as much as the next person, and probably played it more than they did, but what could Valve have in store to meet the lofty expectations of its audience? I'm only looking for a good story and less scripted gameplay, but the idea of it rendering some of the fantastic gameplay experiences that games have provided over the past 8 years inert is somewhat erroneous.

Sony- Much ado about nothing. Will talk on end about how much Sony provides for their fans and how wonderful they all are. Unfortunately aside from Street Fighter V and (possibly) that Dinosaur-esque game Guerilla Games is making being shown, this is likely to be accurate. I think Yahtzee put it accurately in his The Order: 1886 review:

""Exclusive Title"
, which used to mean, "Better make the best game we possibly can to show off the potential of this cutting-edge device that we just convinced you to do instead of 200 iOS games or a year's supply of Twix (Infamous 2)", but now means, "When you don't have to compete, you don't have to care (The Order: 1886)".

With the PS4 selling as well as it has, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony sits atop its ivory tower and makes minimal effort to meet the status quo, which was exactly what they did up to 2007 and what Microsoft did from there up to 2013 before they both got a swift kick to the balls.

[UPDATE]:
Saw the new Doom footage. Looks like it'll be more classical archaic gameplay a la Unreal Tournament or Serious Sam. Nothing particularly amazing about it, but it looked like it could be fun - we'll see how it goes.
