Well you basically called EA as a whole, that was a glorious shitshow. Shame I only caught the tail end of Brote's stream.

I think the London side must have been full of EA employees, because no one in their right mind would clap that much for Peter Moore.

They did a 64 player battlefield match with celebrities after the conference. Zac Efron, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were all high out of their minds and Terry Crews is PC master race.

They showed Snoop at the station for a few seconds and he had a spliff hanging out of his mouth while playing.

They announced Prey, but it's not Prey 2. It's nothing like Prey 2. It's not even like the original Prey.
I just wanted some Cyberpunk-like space adventures as a cowboy bounty hunter. Fuck them for even getting my hopes up.

I was really hoping for a reveal of Elder Scrolls VI: Bosmer Big Time Booty Bash, but you can't win 'em all. Least we're getting Skyrim remastered with console mods so now I can finally replace all the Whiterun ladies with animoo pornstars.

And I'm pretty sure Battlecry at this point was taken behind the shed, shot, and buried in a shallow grave.

Also, I dunno if "Quake: Champions" really qualifies as a new IP, but it looks interesting.

And Prey... isn't Prey 2. But at the same time Prey 2 didn't look anything like the original Prey either so... *shrugs* Still, happy to see what they can do with this.

Oh yeah... Bethesda VR is a thing so.... uhm... whee.

Blank's Final Score: 8/10 - would have given them 7, but I'm giving them an extra point for the guy during the Dishonored 2 presentation for being a trooper despite sounding like his lungs were full of sand. Didn't have all the big reveals I was hoping for, but still probably going to be the best show of E3 again.

Canned applause is par for the course at televised conferences like this.

*Sigh*, E3. I've been a bit nostalgic recently, and was reminded that at one time, E3 really was where my gaming hopes would come true. It used to be in May, which was great as it coincided with the end with school, but that's all gone now.

Well, I see that from EA's side, SimCity is once again dead....which is sad because they had a fanbase that was loyal to it (totally different from The Sims demographic) and still willing to give EA money, yet they completely screwed them over.

As for Nintendo, I'm not sure that the NX will ever be released.

The woman cheering during the Elder Scrolls: Online talk was too much.

Koei Tecmo announced a Berserk Musou for PC (West only), PS4, PS3 and PSVita (I don't know if that counts as an E3 announcement or if they just did it on a day of E3).

Some people are considering that this as a tease for a new Wolfenstein game called 'New Colossus'.

I'm disappointed with the new Quake game. I was expecting a reboot of Q1 or Q2, not some buttwatch clone. And there's a new character there that reminds me of Zoe Quinn. Why?

They're really trying to reveal as few details as possible about Andromeda's story. Graphics look great though.

Honestly not happy Clementine is going to be the PC again, but at least she's sharing the role with an adult this time. The new style looks pretty good except for the weird shine on their eyes. My biggest concern is how they're going to tie in all the different endings from season 2, which includes the handling of Kenny, Jane and AJ.

So... Prey 2 as they originally announced it? I mean, that was what they were planning for Prey 2 originally. To be honest it seems like a halfway house between Doom and Wolfenstein.

...I'm trying to think of a drawback to a game that hybridizes Doom and Wolfenstein and aside from "less well known IP" I'm kind of drawing a blank here.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss Dishonoured 2. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I know which two games are on my November purchase list. That and Battlefield 1. I have to admit, I was skeptical but the stream showed off a relatively fast paced and fun looking multiplayer with a good variety of guns on display.

Friends of mine described it as "this year's COD killer." Both in positive and derogatory ways.
