I thought they did away with 'always online' DRM after the clusterfuck with Sim City?
I mean, if they are making a multiplayer only shooter with no single player campaign totally not like Destiny what utility is there in making an offline mode for it? Offline mode wouldn't actually make sense as a thing and it would just make it slightly easier for hackers to find exploits for it since they'd be in possession of some of the backend code.

Also, EA's fuck up with SimCity was taking a traditionally single player game and removing the ability to play it as a single player game. Instead, you played it as a psudo-single player game online with shitty server reliability and it was designed so that you had to have other people do things for your city with city connections because everyone's city had to be specialized.

Sorry, didn't take that into account. Just saw the 'always online' DRM thing, and that's always pissed me off...

(reposted because wrong fucking thread)

Halo: Infinite looks pretty sweet tbh.

Fallout 76 is also gorgeous.

Seeing Nier: Automata (which I already have for the PC) again is so far the only thing so far that made me smile.

Fallout 76 made me cautiously curious but I already know that the writing will be shit.

Well, better get in soon, we're voting on whether we have Jim or Vinesauce or I put on Marty Robbins for two hours.
Nah I just went to Jim's stream after he was voted out. So far, I like that Nioh-like, Metro, and Fallout 76. There's also Ori, but that'll be on fucking PC anyway so eh.
