E3 2021 Griefing Thread - Now with more nigger pandering, does anyone even care about most of the games displayed here seriously? (Spoiler alert Nintendo won lol)

Bandai Namco is the clear winner at E3. It was the least disappointments per hour out of any AAA showcase hands down. Nintendo was showing off garbage at the very least 5 disappointments per 20 mins.

TL;DW: Chinese culture is different from western culture as it's based on Confucianism, with one of the roots of confucianism being the lack of individualism, where individuals are expected to take into consideration their wider context and connections. For one example imagine you are a chinese student and someone asks you for your homework, in America it would be seen as normal to tell that person to fuck off or ask for something in exchange, in China however not sharing it would be seen as selfish and would cost you a lot of face with everybody else.

Well, that explains it, but a society with no individualism is a society that is going to fail in the long run, without individualism you won't get innovation and without innovation you're going to run out of things to copy and will stagnate, which stagnation is the same as death.

Here are my ranking of each of the shows I've seen

Spoiler: Ranking Autism

Summer Games Fest: It was pretty solid. Elden Ring and Metal Slug Tactics were really hyped and I enjoyed it greatly. The new Death Stranding also looks interesting. Only problem I had was when Dorito Pope was shilling for Amazon.

Ubisoft: This one was really boring, it actually almost made me fall asleep. The only worthwhile things were the new Mario and Rabbids while some games just looked decent but it was still a boring presentation.

Devolver: I just found this funny but kinda cringey but I remembered enjoying it because it was much better than Ubisoft and some of the games looked cool. But it was meh looking back.

Xbox and Bethesda: This was a good stream and it showed video games. Halo Infinite looks very fun and I am interested in some of the things shown here. Forza was really the only weak part since I felt it looked more like a car advertisement than an actual game. The emphasis on authentic Mexico felt like Forza really had nothing.

Square Enix: There was too much Marvel for my liking and I didn't like how the Final Fantasy remasters were glossed over. Final Fantasy Origins was a funny game and it looks like edgy 2000s stuff what gives it a weird charm. The Babylon game also looked fine. But there was too much capeshit and not enough Jrpgs

PC Gaming Show: By far the worst show in all of E3. There was Channel Autism-tier cringe with all the garbage sketches. Almost all the games looked like they belonged in a Indie game montage rather than actual spotlight. Some games were literal kickstarter projects and the hardware stuff both felt pointless overall. The only saving grace was really Soulstice. Oh and the Half Life 3 teases really made things worse.

Capcom: It was the most meh. I guess the news of DLC and Ace Attorney gameplay was cool but this could've just been in tweets or trailers not a stream. The E-Sports stuff was something that felt out of place for E3.

Nintendo: Literally the best conference, most of the stuff shown was bangers that looked really cool. I am grateful that there were actually interesting video games.

Bandai: Literally what was the point of that entire stream. Would've been better not having one if they just showed one game. Like if it was Elden Ring I would understand but it's just one game.

Less to do with Confucianism and more to do with the thousands of years of insane bureaucratic corruption from Legalism. Mix those two together with a history of embarrassingly getting your shit kicked in repeatedly and multiple failed implementations of Meritocratic systems, and you have modern China. Mao, Communism, and the Great Leap Forward are just cherries on the top.

I'm so tired of medieval RPGs, "realistic" shooters, historical (especially fucking world war 2) shooters, because this shit is so fucking prevalent. Aren't there enough of these games already?
