Playing Quake 4 in preparation of the Bethesda show, I have a baseless faith that this will be the E3 that announces a new Quake game. What the fuck else does Bethesda have? Elder Scrolls? That space game I forgot about? Deathloop?

This might be the one, I know it may be childish and copium infused but I believe damn it. I BELIEVE.

Oh my God this guerilla collective stream is a steaming pile of shit. So far I've seen a cringy ad with a fat white chick and a ginger soyboy talking about a surfing game for the hipster gameboy with a crank attached, a walking sim about the ennui a spoiled uni grad experiences after forgetting to look for a job their senior year, a game about a depressed lesbian skateboarder in a flooded (due to climate change of course) Venice, and a game about sketching shit in a notebook.

Holy shit! Ubisoft's pre-stream is just some AssCreed character walking. For literally five minutes doing absolutely nothing else. And then we got some dangerhair feminist dev with a nosering talking about shit no one cares about. Trannies and guntlemen, I'm already hyped for the upcoming cringe.

Oh man this was like with Jupiter and Mars where it was supposed to be about GLOBAL WARMING and the game looked like Ecco The Dolphin.

However upon release the game turned out to be a first person game and the dolphin you saw in the screens was a useless partner dolphin that was just a toolbox regulated as a character. The Game's map never functioned right which really hurt it because you moved in first person in zero gravity like Forsaken. So navigating the whole thing was fucking ass and it played like ass and they kept trying to promote it as a deep message about the dangers of pollution that consumerism costs.....only to release the game on Limited Run Games.
 
I wonder how much of this woke bullshit will actually sell. They're going all in this year.

Sales figures is gonna be what decides if they try this again next year.

The best part was the part right after where the executive was talking about going gold, where they say the definition is "Going to be manufactured" and that the term originated in a physical space which OBVIOUSLY doesn't exist anymore, before immediately cutting back to more Valhalla footage.

Only this time it was on a boat. In an area that had so little water that they just had to go in circles.

The gaming equivalent of watching paint dry.
