E3 (but not really) 2022

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Plus with zero interest from attendants over the past years, even before the pandemic, which explains E3 being way more corporate, there was no reason to continue. When, of all things, San Diego Comic Con (despite being very corporate in this day and age) still manage to have an amazing amount of attendants, even before and after said pandemic.

I was all set up to tell you that this impossible because their tent poles are already set for the next twelve or so months with XB3 in the summer, Splatoon and Pokemon pre-Christmas and BotW 2 next spring or summer. But there's actually a few hidden options here. They could finally unveil what happened to Bayonetta 3, which people continue to insist is on track despite the extremely long dev cycle, EPD 9 (makers of Mario Kart, Arms and Nintendogs) could surprise us with a shock doggo reveal as its one of the few big hitters not to have made it to Switch, and EPD 10 (2D Mario and Pikmin) could have Pikmin 4 or NSMB Switch since its been a few years since MM 2.

And just for the sake of completion, a new 3D Mario is also in development, as is Mario Kart 9 (announced, even) and Metroid Prime 4 by Retro, but none of those fit in the schedule or are even close to completion.
Hahaha, re-reading my own posts and we got literally all of that, with the exception of the dogs who continue their surprising absence even though I am sure the title would do really well.

It's dumb they're letting it die with the DS lineup but they've also given little care to Star Fox or F-zero for years despite existing fanbases caring for each of these and clamoring for a title they've actually given a shit about, Nintendo loves to play it safe and stick to the really big IPs. With the kind of attention the latest animal crossing got despite being an eh release you'd think they'd at least understand the casual audience is endlessly exploitable, but Nintendo's mentality is sometimes an enigma.

Switch Sports is also above 15 million in sales. Shit's crazy.

I don't even get why people praise John Romero. He was a map designer like Sandy Petersen and most of the other dudes at classic Id. His skill set wasn't special even if he was the best at it. Daikatana and his time at Ion Storm should have killed that reputation, but it didn't for some reason. Meanwhile, John Carmack is literally pulling off magic tricks with all the engine programming tricks he managed to pull off over the years, and even outside of gaming he's still doing crazy shit. Romero is a spic hack snd the only reason he's even spoken of today is because he sucks the woke crowd off.
This 100%. I genuinely don't know why John Romero is so praised as if he was the only person who made DOOM. On top of that he is a troon supporter, anti-gun, liberal brainlet. It's amazing that he was one of the people who worked on a game about slaughtering demons when he is the most fragile minded person.

Well its pretty simple actually: People remember a really good map, people don't remember the dude who made playing the map possible. Carmack is also a curmudgeonly guy that just wants to be left alone to solve really hard problems and not deal with idiots. I remember an interview where some tranny tried to pull a gotcha on him on why he doesn't have more trans/minorities/whatever on his team. He got a pissed off look on his face (and probably realized what was happened) and basically responded with "I can't find any one that can solve these problems. If they could (and could keep up with me) I would hire them no matter what color/race/whatever they were."

I dated his sister-in-law for a while. His ex-wife is a woketard as is he. Unsufferable cunts. He ended up ditching her for some old cunt, while the ex doubled down and went full BLM.

We could get Donkey Kong... but only if Nintendo has farmed it out to someone, and if they have they picked a tight-lipped group since no out-side development team rumors exist for it. I dunno, maybe someone like Level 5, Velan Studios, Good-Feel (please, God, no...), Blizzard Albany -aka- Vicarious Visions or, least likely of all, Team Ninja.
Not to toot my own horn or anything but about a year after I made this post, details of the cancelled Vicarious Visions Donkey Kong game got leaked.
