E3 (but not really) 2022

maybe learn to play a real genre instead of this board game baby shit
I do play other genres, its called variety.

That is why it annoys me that they turned Final Fantasy into something it isn't, if I wanted to play Devil May Cry...I would play a Devil May Cry game.

imagine being so brain dead you can't see how an action game can also be an RPG
It's an action RPG which have existed for more than 20 years.
Imagine being so brain-dead that you think the modern Final Fantasies count as even action-RPGS. Progression is so illusory that not only are you incapable of choosing or even customizing your party members, whenever they re-join you after a lengthy sabbatical, they're auto-leveled to whatever the merry fuck you happen to be. I mean, am I even playing the game at that point?

Tell me, @SSF2T Old User - did you get a mild aneurysm from the SF6 trailer, or did you actually pop a blood (brain) vessel?
Look at how they massacred my girl

Her face looks like they took her eyes from behind and just stretched them as far back as they could like some bad plastic surgery

Calling this Devil May Cry and not Big Boy Kingdom hearts shows you really have not played a whole heck of a lot.

for those unaware, ff16 looks to be a proper action game, not the bizarre psuedo thing 15 was. 16 has the combat director of DMC5, the best action game of the generation, at the helm. If you're unfamilair with the genre it's hard to explain why 15 feels so wrong and DMC so right, but it comes down to precision. FF15 only lets you set the state of the player, either attack or dodging. timing is completely secondary. in DMC, and just about every action game, timing attacks and dodging is fundamental to why the genre works. There's nothing like bashing an enemy, having his buddy come up behind you, dodge out of the way, smack him back, and then get back to beating the shit out of the original dude. that entire exchange takes a lot of precise timing and takes place under a minute, but goddamn does that dopamine hit feel good.
Fuck dodging, if a game needs a special button to make you move faster then its poorly designed. Fuck all dodging in all games ever.

She looks like Pai

I guess they didn't want to get Chunners banned in China so they had to play it safe.

She does look Chinese, but Chun-li never looked Chiense, she looked like Chun-Li who is supposed to be chinese but doesn't actually look chinese.

>the Asian's eyes are as slanted as physically possible
SMDH, pretty racist of you Capcom! #StopAsianHate!
I don't fucking get why they went with the "realistic" look for the models. They tried that shit in SFV but when "hobo ryu" got leaked, people slammed Capcom for it, so they went back to the anime style, but not really, more like a hybrid of the two so you have uncanny valley looking fighters.

in SF6 they just went "fuck it" so now we have RYU looking like that black and white chad meme.

i doubt even sony remembers they own gravity rush
A shame, that's one of the only non-pozzed series they put out on their consoles. Maybe that's why they're so hesitant on re-releasing them. The original creator also would like to see it on PC.
If it's getting revived it's going to be a VR game because that would actually make sense with the main gameplay mechanic.
As an optional feature? Yes. As a mandatory mechanic? LOL NO.

VR with a 3rd person camera does work very well, but it requires having much different level design from a traditional game.

If you were to play it on a normal screen it would look off to you because the character would be positioned much lower than people would be used to.
