Can any pc people educate me?

Wouldn't having an overclocked CPU put you at more risk of fucking up your PC?
It does if it's not properly cooled, but shit's so powerful these days anyway that there's not much gain in overclocking anymore. A top-end setup like that can devour any game no problem right now from stock settings and probably won't get taxed until half-way through the PlayStation 6 generation

It can fuck your PC up in two ways:
1) You set the voltage limits to ones that exceed what the silicon can take
2) You don't have sufficient cooling for the overclocked CPU leading to thermal damage

It really should only be done by competent system builders and overall it's not worth going through the hassle for the average consumer who won't notice much difference.

btw I have no fucking idea what you guys are watching, just following the thread blindly
