E3 (but not really) 2022

Remember the June Conventions are not for people who actually play games it's so they can trick the investors into funding them.

They serve their purpose. But remember no matter how cringe you think something is, some dude with a shitload of money who has no idea how these things work was impressed enough to throw a few million behind it.
i'd figure even you would be able to figure out that the hosts speaking in ways designed to appeal to 14 year olds isn't exactly how you try and appeal to investors

unless you're really that severely autistic

You had me interested at the start... But then you interrupted yourself and now I've lost interest.

Moira doesn't seem to realize that E3 as an expo/trade show has always been primarily focused on marketing and pre-selling to RETAILERS and journalists, not investors. With the shift to digital, this has basically meant they are now marketing directly to consumer.

To even further prove the point, up until a few years ago E3 was closed to the public, meaning you had to have some sort of connection to the gaming or retail industry to even attend. The days of primarily marketing to retailers was basically dead when it went public.

Trying to sell to investors is a totally different thing, and involves a lot more business/investing information than anything about the actual video games.
