E3 (but not really) 2022

The reason so many of these "indie games" copy the homework of actual indie games is that they have no creativity within their teams. We saw a lot of Stardew Valley clones, and Stardew Valley was successful right? So just make a million shittier, woker versions of it!
That's really how it's always worked.

But the genre is already pretty gay to start. Rune Factory 5 added gay marriage and people really really liked that, so much so it broke all previous Rune Factory and Harvest moon sales records. The special edition was called "Earthmate" Edition" which promoted the fact that the game had gay marriage as a feature.

The farming games are under the larger genre of simulators, so people want to have them reflect their everyday lives to some extent. That's kind of what simulators are supposed to allow you to do.

Prove that's why it sold well. The only people who "really, really liked" faggot marriage are faggots.

They had a different release date for the game in the west to specifically add gay marriage because people wanted it.

The addition of same-sex marriage did not delay the game — the team was already working on localisation and QA testing, and the release schedule was chosen specifically to accommodate the new content.

Implementing same-sex marriage did mean a lot of work, though, from adding pronoun-specific tags right into the dialogue and recording tons of voice lines to account for all the different gendered nicknames, to revamping the wedding cutscenes to include new options.

Xseed usually has a worldwide same day release for their stuff. But Rune Factory 5 had to have extra manhours put in.

Nothing you quoted proves what you've claimed.
You want another article?
They literally promoted the gay stuff to be at the forefront
Rune Factory didn't add a female player character until Rune Factory 4, and Rune Factory 5 will finally be the first game to allow for marriages between partners of the same genders. When fans heard the news based on the Japanese version of the game, fans were crushed. According to Xseed, however, the developer was asking for the addition of same-sex relationships in Rune Factory 5 as early as 2018 after success with the Friends of Mineral Town remake. Thankfully, Marvelous approved this localization feature and the team was able to move forward with queer couples, leading up to the beautiful wedding clip shown at the Nintendo Direct.

Fans of the series wanted this

all i needed to hear.

I can't even tell if that was disappointing or not. I'm clearly not the target audience for this shit anymore.

Anyways

-FFVII Remake Intergrade on Steam
-FFVII Merch
-FFVII Mobile remake that's maybe got a card battle system or just funky UI (I'm kinda thinking funky UI for mobile) and looks closer to original artstyle
-FFVII First Soldier mobile season 3
-Crisis Core remaster/remake on all consoles
-FFVII Rebirth next winter

Honestly the mobile remake looked cool until...well...it was said to be mobile.
