E3 (but not really) 2022

Fuck off. I had to sit through years of Nintendo thinking that revealing some dumbshit nobody DLC was a "big reveal". It would be the worst direct you've ever seen in your entire life but they'd reveal Johnny Animesword at the end of it and everyone would be shrieking for days on end about how it was the best presentation they'd ever seen in their life, meanwhile the actual reveals were all terrible. You just got half a decade of Smash faggotry dominating every aspect of every discussion, just play Ultimate with the other pedos and be content.

A game with ten thousand characters and another half that in DLC and Smashfags still aren't satisfied. Christ almighty.

>she
You been drinking too much, Patty.
and yet Minecraft Steve caused incalculable levels of salt, despite being the most out-of-place ∴ interesting DLC by far. I don't know why anyone gets soyfaced over anime swordsmen and fighting game guys. Oh boy here comes Terry Bogart from The King of Art of Fighters 1996 EX Plus Alpha Ultimate to do the exact same thing he does in his home game, except now he can jump like a frog

Nah, @Marissa Moira is right about this one. She can't lie about Ys. No one can.
There is a big difference between a game taking inspiration of a certain genre (which could be anything but gameplay) and claiming the game is actually of said genre. Words have specific definitions for a reason.

And he's also wrong about Souls games being only popular in the West anyway, as they are also popular in Japan. In fact, Elden Ring is the sole Playstation game of this year that currently carry both the PS4 and PS5 a lot in Japan, all while the Playstation franchise continues its downright spiral. (Numbers below are physical unit sales from Famitsu, digital sales should add around 20% of the total sales in general, except specific cases like games that were attributed a low stock shipment of physicals on release).

The starting roster was so large I didn't even know who they could add to it and the answer was "no one". Terry Bogard, wow, not like I can play him in his own game. No, I always wondered if Terry Bogard could outpunch Mario.

It stopped feeling like a fun little Nintendo insiders club game and became this big "Product".

@Marissa Moira is a good girl leave her alone.

I’d argue that things like Undertale and Celeste are good (albeit really overrated), but that the things that have been released in their wake are insufferable and pretentious, a deadly combination. “What if we make a retro looking thing plus depression and/or genderspecial stuff?”
FTFY

I liked Celeste, the gameplay was fun.

I shit on Undertale because it riles people up. It was okay but I don't recommend it to people.

What do you guys expect for the Direct that's coming up?
My Predictions for the Next Nintendo Direct (Should One Happen Next Week)

Most Likely to Happen:
Mario movie teaser trailer
Bayonetta 3 release date
More Splatoon 3 news
Mario Strikers Battle League DLC
Switch Sports DLC

Maybe:
Kirby and the Forgotten Land DLC
BOTW 2 news
Metroid Prime 4 news
The rumored 3D Donkey Kong game
Mario Odyssey 2
Rumored new mainline Fire Emblem

It'll Never Happen, Vyse, Stop Coping, This is Just Sad At This Point:
Skies of Arcadia - HD remaster with original English translation non-sullied by Woke shit, voice acting, a Discovery Radar to make Discoveries easier to find, the ability to lower or outright cut random encounters, New Game+, and unlockable costumes, with one of them being Fina's Air Pirate outfit:

What do you guys expect for the Direct that's coming up?
A Release date for the Advanced Wars remake that should already be out.
I also hope for more info on Xenoblade 3 not because I'm interested in the game but because it's funny to laugh at people who'll freak out that it's eating up time in a direct that could've gone to a more popular IP.
