You are 100% right about this. I actually like the PS4 library overall, but it's lacking that certain unique charm that weird Japanese games brought to the PS brand. It's like when all the Jrpgs moved to the DS because it was easier to develop for.

So it went about as expected, PlayStation only had one game, Microsoft showed off a bunch of woke trash, and the nintendies declare Nintendo "the winner" for getting some third party games 5 years later

Now that the dust has settled, I think it’s safe to say that Nintendo’s presentation had some interesting (third party) reveals, but nothing too ground-breaking and it was just “pretty good” at best.

Honestly. This year I'm giving it to Microsoft. Nintendo coming in second place.

Game Pass is probably half of the reason though. There's so many games that I'm like "that looks cool, probably won't buy it though". So when they say "day 1 on gamepass" then that makes me actually think "cool, now I can try that game out".

Gentlemen. The answer is simple. If the game does not appeal, simply do not buy it. Even if it somehow succeeds financially, you can rest easy knowing you didn't spend any money on it.

After all, a fool and his money are soon parted.

The obvious issue is that most of the games shown in this month aren't even worth pirating. My final verdict:
