It'll be forgotten in a week, maybe 2. It's performative outrage from a bunch of retarded niggers.

Every single thing is actually the end for trump, for real this time, in the mind of the far left faggot. Remember Iran? Nobody does.
People need to be less secure in this assumption. He's hit a record low approval rating today at a whopping 37%: https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5586268-trump-approval-hits-record-low/

This dipshit went from a 47% approval rating to 37% in less than a year. It's literally only the fact that the Dems are so laughably incompetent that this isn't hurting him more than it is. We're nearing Biden at the end of his term levels. Biden left office at 35.6% approval rating, the lowest it ever was in his term. You think this trend will just magically reverse? We can say "fake news this" and "fake news that" but he's completely shit the bed on the economy, the very think he was elected for. He's going to have to start posting major results and stat or else he's going to keep slipping. He's polling at -20 on the economy and -32 on inflation/prices. He was elected to boost the job market and cool prices and we haven't seen dick all about that. Sitting on laurels is going to be the slow death of the GOP. It's what killed the Dems. They got too comfortable and too confident that their shit didn't stink. It's literally the exact same thought process, "at least I'm better than that guy over there".

He and the rest of the GOP needs to pull their heads out of their asses if they think they won't start feeling this in 2026 and 2028. Trump and the GOP aren't untouchable.

At no point in human history did family farms "rake in the money". They got by.
This.

Farming is a far more capital-intensive business than it ever was. Not uncommon for much of the equipment, such as tractors, combines, and other big machinery to cost as much as a Rolls-Royce. Even certain specialized farm wagons are six figures. Inputs, such as seed, fertilizer, and herbicides are not cheap, either. Some places rely on irrigation, an added expense. Easy to see how farmers work to get every last bit of production possible.

Yeah, you have your niche farmers, who intensively cultivate relatively small plots, or just run a limited number of cattle/pigs/chickens to sell as premium/organic beef/pork/eggs, but they are in the decided minority.

Check out "Successful Farming" magazine, you'll see what I mean.

There's an old saying, "Want to make a small fortune farming? Start with a large fortune."

That basically makes the Dem platform right there
What breaks the Dem platform is the raw numbers, which show that EBT disbursements DOUBLED between 2019 - 2021, and 21 states are refusing to share their SNAP data with the Department of Agriculture. Social Security issued 2.1 million new SSN#s to "asylum seekers" in 2024 ALONE. Nobody is going to give 2 shits about the T-Mobile Ballroom by Amazon when they realize that BILLIONS have been spent on illegals, CONTRARY to what the Democrats have been telling us. That information is going to be hitting the news over and over long after the stupid ballroom is forgotten.

It's a very interesting industry where even comparatively small farms can be managing multiple millions of dollars in revenue every year and yet the owners are dirt poor.

You're vastly overestimating how informed the average voter wants to be. It's about vibes, not facts. The average voter resonates way more with iconography like this and outrage farming rather than "boring" stats.

The GOP are completely shitting the bed with public approval right now. He's lost the amount of support in 10 months that most presidents lose in 2-3 years. It's literally just because the Dems are so utterly pathetic and hapless that this isn't hurting them more than it is.

I had to run some shit to a job site, and finally hit a store on the way home. A hyvee not far from the interstate between two bughives. It was...peaceful? Its definitely been a bit more raucous in the past. Everyone seemed unusually good spirited.

It was nice, but unusual enough to feel a bit twilight zone-ish... Anyways, I promised my dogs a walk. I just wanted to post my own status update real quick.

You shouldn't put too much stock in polls. The NYT currently has him sitting well above 40% approval, and other outlets give different numbers. Also it's very common for presidential approval ratings to drop during the first year as the honeymoon period passes.

You wouldn't be insinuating that politicians are playing politics are you?

What we are dealing with here is food and while there is good reason to squarely point the finger at the Dems, it's also important to highlight a catered Great Gatsby party, a new $200 Million Ballroom, A new Whitehouse Bathroom.

Politics aside (regardless of whether you agree with food stamps or not) kids are the one's that are going to be sent to school hungry.
You're a retard. Just because the government shuts down means nobody should be allowed to enjoy anything or improve the most important building in human history? I genuinely cannot wrap my head around how low IQ you have to be to be upset about renovations that are being paid for by private citizens. Not a single dime of your tax dollars are going to the White House renovations. You retards always cry about the rich not paying their fair share and when they do, you cry about muh ballroom. Rope yourself you troglodyte.

As for the kids, why should I give a fuck? They're mostly blacks, browns, or mystery meat and more importantly, they're not my kids.

Regardless of what you think of the Dems and GOP, this shit is image poison for the GOP. Right now, more voters are blaming the GOP (52%) than the Dems (42%). It doesn't matter to voters that what is going on with the White House is privately funded (and on a different scale, the entire renovation could fund food stamps for maybe a day or two).

It's terrible optics. Building a $200M ballroom at the same time that food stamps are being cut (for the record, they should be cut, food stamps are an antiquated relic from the Depression and have no business being used today) is going to be a big, big, BIG weapon for the Dems to use for the midterms in one year. It literally does not matter whether it really is or is not the Dem's or GOP's fault. What matters is that voters are seeing it as the GOP's fault, and the GOP being so wildly opulent during a time that shit is being shut down and cut is going to be bite really bad in the upcoming midterms. That basically makes the Dem platform right there.

They could much easier get away with this by focusing on the deficit (something curiously gone completely unmentioned since the DOGE implosion) but no, they're spending their time renovating the White House into a presidential palace. They're giving the Dems a noose and putting their neck in it unnecessarily. Just put it on hold until the budget gets passed.
The White House has been a shithole for too long. Have you seen the kinds of palaces other world leaders live in? If we want to project an image of wealth and power, we have to have the best presidential residence on the planet. In a century, nobody will remember this shutdown, but the entire world will remember Donald Trump's ballroom and look upon the White House and America with awe.

Delays because state tech infrastructure is both so outdated and written by the lowest bidder, so it never accounted for payment levels going down or off-schedule, is peak government in action right here.
Forget reading through the founding documents, when we bring back civics courses have things like this as case studies. Students will appreciate what the original government was trying to accomplish a lot more after that.

While it's true that the average voter is woefully ignorant, I'm not seeing a corresponding rise in Democrat approval to match Trump's dip in approval ratings. That's because they have NOBODY worth running. They have no leadership.

It also depends a lot on who's running the polls, and how the data is gathered. If the poll is of 1,000 people from California who own landlines and are willing to answer the questions, you're going to get a lot of pissed-off Boomers who didn't get their EBT this month answering the poll. Just the word8ng of the questions can lead respondents in the direction the pollster wants. Polls are bunk in the first place.

Fox has a new poll out today showing that "Democrats are losing faith in their party." They (the poll creators) speculate that it's because the Dems jumped into the shutdown without an end-game in sight, with no plan to negotiate to keep the government open, and no real leadership. Are you going to wring your hands over that too? Or just the polls that come out "Orange man bad".

What is your proposal for overturning the results of a purposefully skewed, shitty poll? Bend the knee to every Democrat demand? It literally doesn't matter what Trump does, the Democrats will oppose it and paint it in a bad light, the same as they did with egg prices. There's no point in getting worked up over polls, for every poll out there, there's one that says the opposite.

Because unless you die before you’re 40, some of those kids are going to be growing up to be the ones doing the shit you need done but can’t do yourself.

Want to change your tune on minorities being able and encouraged to excel? Get a lab tech who can’t find a vein for fifteen minutes. The idea of going back in time twenty years to make sure Leticia has more capability to grow and succeed will appeal to you greatly.

I’m not okay with abuse of the nanny state. I’m also not okay with kids going hungry and flunking school and going nowhere because unlike their parents they can do very little about it.

Even if they're well fed, colored children will continue to grow up to be gang bangers because it's their subhuman culture. Sure some of them become doctors, but the vast majority of colored doctors are ones we import on H1Bs, so feeding the little niglings in America doesn't change anything there.

I will laugh if it turns out to be true.

“Good news, you will get some EBT funds for November!”
Yay
“As soon as we figure out how to process the payments, probably by March!”
AHHHHHHHHHHH

I also feel bad about kids going hungry regardless of race. BUT there is one simple trick to turn the gibs back on ASAP, but the Dems won't do it, because they care more about illegal aliens than their own citizenry.

The fact that EBT has DOUBLED since 2019 tells me that HALF of the EBT money isn't going to impoverished black kids who just need a hot meal and a leg up. That money is going to trashy people from all over the world who passed through half a dozen safe countries before turning up in the US to claim asylum. Shut off their gibs, and they'll go home. Until then, Grandma gets $60 a month EBT and lives on ramen while Jose Aguilar Ortiz gets $2000 a month to support himself and his 7 kids.

The savings are biggest, ironically, at Kroger when they mark down meat below cost.
In my experience you can get best deals at places like Meijer, which is like Walmart for white people. They can afford to take losses on quality groceries by also selling basically everything you need. I do still go to Kroger for certain brands that Meijer doesn't have, but when I see things that are available at both the price tends to be lower at Meijer, and the products tend to be just as good if not better. Sometimes Kroger edges them out by offering a discount if you have a Kroger card, but its inconsistent.
