You cant really rely on statistics anyways as for the fact thank EBT is also a front for some black people. As they will either flip their own EBT or buy them from some white people and vice a versa abusing and committing EBT fraud. So statistics don't mean shit for any side of the argument because you can't track that properly.

If Trump is too reckless it could doom the campaign of any Republican running after him, especially if their name is JD Vance. While it wouldn't be his personal responsibility anymore, I'm guessing that Trump would prefer it if his presidential legacy was good enough for a successor to stand on.

i could see this being the case. i also have to wonder how many SNAP people who spent the money wisely have just been fine ever since covid. during the pandemic SNAP was given bonus money multiple times some people even got money twice in the same month instead of once and each time you got the maximum amount no matter what.

anyone smart who had a freezer could have easily built up a really nice food surplus that would have allowed their SNAP balance to stack up month to month until they just repeat the cycle over and over. as long as they never eat too much or spend too much they would in theory always have a large surplus and money left over to refill the surplus when needed.

so basically it could be entirely possible that a large amount of people getting SNAP actually have too much food and never actually use their money and that is why they are always buying snacks and sodas. since EBT cards still function they are just using whatever surplus funds they have while hoping it gets fixed before it runs out.

“But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of the President shall be eligible to that office the Vice-President of the United States”

Trump said otherwise so presumably there's a loophole. Regardless, I think far more people than you would ever expect would vote for him a third time. Also it's not political poison, everyone except for shrieking libs either are fine with it or don't care.

As for the dementia thing, this is a case by case basis. If he loses his mind, he'll be withdrawn from office. That's quite literally the purpose of the 25th amendment.

I'll be honest, Trump isn't really that smart when it comes to Legal shit around Politics, he's a wheeler and a dealer, but he talks out his ass all the time, and he KNOWS it pisses off his enemies to talk about a third term.

frankly, he'd be awful as a third term president, he's fucking old and feels deflated compared to his first term already, I imagine 6 years from now he'll feel like a December Pumpkin, if Trump cannot pass the baton to a good replacement, he really isn't anything important or special anyways.

If the Republicans lose the midterms badly enough Trump would be cuckolded during his last 2 years as president or worse impeached. To avoid this he could step down as president before he has served 2 years. This would leave him eligible to run for president again since a person can serve as president for 10 years. It also would not interfere with JD Vance serving 2 additional terms for the same reason. It would help JD prove himself as MAGA successor and prove Trump is not a power hungry dictator. Ironically enough Trump could become VP which would all but assure they don't try to impeach Vance.

Pretty much this. The more and more Trump “entertains” and “discusses” a third term, the worse it gets for him. Contrary to what he thinks, this whole “third term” thing is not popular with most GOP voters. He’d be nearly *ninety* at the end of a third term. It would be like wheeling Strom Thurmond’s shambling corpse into senate.

There’s a line between trolling the Dems and being a self-defeating idiot and he’s rapidly going to the latter on this issue. The law is pretty difficult to get around on this. Any “workaround” loophole has been already been closed by the 12th. He’s done in 2028. If he’s too obsessed with power to ever gracefully give it up, then he’s not fit to be president. If he’s not already specifically hyping up Vance or whomever he chooses to be his successor by the time midterms roll around, he’s legitimately just retarded. You accept the terms and limitations laid out for you as president or you get fucked. Dem, rep, or otherwise.
