Well over 2 decades ago, I pushed carts at Wal-Mart. I had other duties, but my main one was "Go get carts from the parking lot, and bring them to the interior cart corral." Even if you were the kind of person who'd forget what day or the week it was or whatever, you'd always be able to recognize the first of the month. Registers have lines almost all day, I'm sure there were other things, but my main problem was I couldn't keep carts in the store; I'd bring 10-20 in, and they'd all be grabbed before I can turn around and walk out the door to get more. It's obvious when the government checks come in, first of the month, even DSP knows this.
That's one of the big problems with welfare as it is; there are legit people in hard times/in need who use it, but one of the big problems is it's not created to allow you to escape poverty, it's made to keep you there. The state will tell you they want you to get a job, and let's say you do, and you're pulling in $375 a week; you don't suddenly get an extra $1,500 a month from that job, the state will look at that and decide you're suddenly a big baller, and cut most of the aid and now instead of being up an extra $1,500, you're suddenly running a negative of $250. So the question becomes do you take the job and suffer more, or do you ignore the job because you get more income with out. There should be a way to balance job versus hand outs, but the way it's currently done is purposely made to create a caste of useless nigger cattle.
My guess is it's one of the biggest tax dollar sinks and illegals. You really have no idea how many illegals fucking suck up welfare and will still have the gall to cry that they need more. It wouldn't surprise me if this is part of Trump's deportation order. The time it'd take to do a proper audit is too fucking vast and the states are incapable/untrustworthy to do their own audits, so the simplest way is to cut off the tap and problems tend to remove themselves.
I'm at an overtaxed small business too and stand by what I said. The problem isn't that we prevent limbless old people from starving and give working families enough for kids. The problems are that we incentivize healthy young people not to work and have too many people receiving benefits. If disability worked as intended for the truly unable to work and we gave desperate working families food that wasn't instant gratification pig slop, it would be a pure public benefit that pays for a modest tax by preventing a class of starving thieves/vandals shitting in the street.
It's because the next thing that comes out of new funding next issue will be military when that eventually runs out
