I think it has to do with whether or not you have to treat the water for it to be safe to drink. I know that location does play a part in it, but that's how well and pump water is in the outback.
Some places you can just drink the water straight up and in some places it has to be treated because of the mineral or salt content in it. But I will say this that artesian basin water is better than any purified bullshit I've ever bought in a store.
I'm the kind of person who likes the taste of tap water over purified water though.

Hilarious! In the first clip, the person cannot even spell 'their' properly. And those who don't pay their bills, don't pay their rent, find themselves in trouble. Also, going to HR and having them put you down as exempt from withholding is not a good idea. Just makes it harder to pay any taxes, and if you don't file the IRS will eventually come after you. And face it, this particular demographic has the lowest incomes and the smallest average net worth of any in the country. So not spending anything is no big deal, mighty little to spend anyway.

And the lady whining about people being 'soulless demons'...please. Taxpayers are beyond tired of subsidizing anyone's bad life decisions, whether they be black, white, Asian, Hispanic, or whatever. Have seen all races do the trolling on YT. I'd say the 'soulless demons' are those who shamelessly rip off the taxpayers with their greed. Have all the respect and sympathy in the world for the needy elderly, disabled, and needy veterans with honorable discharges.

The "planty" taste is probably Geosmin and 2-methylisoborneol. There's not currently a way to remove them from tap water (they're incredibly strong so even a tiny bit can make water taste different). It's usually the result of algal blooms, they're harmless, but leave a taste. SoCal and Texas are hot and dry so probably use reservoirs, which often will have issues with algal blooms, while NorCal probably is cool enough it's less of a problem or can rely on clean mountain sources from the Sierras.

Her sensory issue kids are probably that way from neglect. If your child can't swallow then that is more than likely because you kept him on a bottle until he was in kindy.

I haven't been back to Plano in some time, so I'm not certain; but I know a lot of californians moved to TX, moving to Austin and spreading out from there. A lot of the people with the capital to make a lot of those moves happen were the lower upper-class and upper middle-class that were predominantly white and Asian.
I couldn't tell you the Asian breakdown of Cali, but there are a fuckload of Vietnamese and Chinese here.

Water in Northern California (north of SF) is fresh, sweet, mountain spring water with maybe just a sprinkle of carcinogens if you happen to live near a pulp mill or paper plant.

Water in Southern California is so mineral-laden you have to chew it before you swallow, and it has a foul taste and odor. We like to joke in So Cal that if you get tap water in your eyes, you squirt baby shampoo in them to stop the burning. You may also encounter a variety of carcinogenic pollutants, from bacteria to rocket fuel, depending on where you live.

LA in particular recirculates treated sewage water back into the system, and while it's supposedly perfectly safe, it's pretty gross to think about. In Southern California, check where your bottled water is bottled, because bottled water is simply city water that's put through additional filtration. If it's bottled in LA, it's sewage water with extra, extra steps. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I, too, prefer tap water as long as it's not flavored like sulfur. Can't stand mineral water. This may be a Californian gayop I was subjected to, but I was told the good stuff comes from the Hetch Hetchy dam reserve that mainly serves SF. When I went to LA the water tasted like ass, so it was a lot easier to just drink milk and soda. That's why I do have some measure of empathy for the goyslopped masses, but a water filter costs fifty bucks altogether. It retarded and depressing that these lazy niggers couldn't buy a jug and wait 15 minutes for their water to filter when dey could be havin' dey pop. O damn why am I 500 pounds? Sheeeeeeeeeeit, the guvmint will take care a'da problums frum dat too, nigguh.

Well, here we are at end of business October 29th. We have a mere 2 days to get the government back up, but I think both parties are waiting for election Day on November 4th to see who the shutdown benefits more.
I'm also of the belief that the Republicans will not cave to these idiots, simply for the fact that they're holding the majority of everything. I also believe that it's going to take time for the Democrats to get it through their thick skulls that they need to capitulate because the Republicans will let every one of these federal workers and welfare leeches starve to death because it's not like they vote conservative. There is literally no upside to Republicans bending the knee, and Democrats haven't realized they have to yet.
This month is going to be fucking FUN.
