routinely transforming what would have been a 50$ traffic ticket, or even a simple warning, into multiple felonies
there is usually some (limited) reasoning behind this. American ghetto niggers may not be very intelligent, but they have lots of interactions with the police and know how they operate. These nogs in question typically have drugs, guns (either stolen or they're a con and lost their rights), open containers, and/or stolen goods in their cars at basically all times. Cops profile people, if you look and speak like a ghetto-ass nigger, the cop is going to assume you are as such and then find any excuse to do a search of the car cause they know they're gonna find something to book you for. the nogs know the inevitable "sir, could you step out of the car for me" is coming and if they comply and get out, the cop is going to do his search and they're going to find something, and the nog is getting cuffed and going to jail. So they try and flee, or if flight is not an option they go fight and attack the cop.

Now be honest, you know they would see that as a pro, and not a con. They're all for a system that would allow them (there always at the top somehow and not someone else) to starve, beat and murder the "enemies of the revolution" whenever they desire.
The funniest thing I realized as an adult is that nearly every conservative sees themselves as the little guy underdog, and every loony leftist sees themselves as one of the head honchos of the party, no matter how unimportant they currently are in life.
They think that if they could just get communism established in America, everyone would rally behind their good ideas. They never give any thought to the reality that their broke disabled asses would be on a bread line or that they'd be in a reeducation camp for being niggers or mentally ill men pretending to be Sheilas.

I wasn’t aware there were any cheap grocery stores in the US…
Obviously you’ve got a difference between the likes of Whole Foods and Kroger, but neither I would call “cheap” in any case.
Do you mean something like Lidl, or Chinese supermarkets or what?
There are smaller grocery chains in any given region. Groceries are already a low margin industry so there's only so cheap it's going to get. You have to ask yourself where cost cuts can be made. It could be cheaper real estate, less money spent on store decorations and hygiene, fewer employees, or items left on the shelf closer to their expiration date. Aldi's milk will spoil a solid week before Kroger's, as an example.

Generally, you just shop around. Different stores have different business models. Kroger relies on massive loss leaders to drive traffic on higher margin items whereas Aldi relies on in-house generic brands, minimal staffing, and small stores. The savings are biggest, ironically, at Kroger when they mark down meat below cost.

Yeah, that’s what I was getting at. It’s a real shock that basic staples are so expensive comparative to Europe or Asia, and it does seem to be due to retarded agricultural policy and tariffs and whatnot.
Everything is literally 3x the cost, whether it’s a raw potato or a bag of Doritos.

There's an old adage from Steinbeck that every American sees himself as 'a temporarily embarrassed millionaire.'

Place like Food4Less and WinCo.

Trust me, if you've never been in one of those one of the days that the EBT drops, you haven't lived.

NOthing like wearing a vest to go grocery shopping.

Not only that but the government subsidizes so many bullshit crops either for non food use or export. I think it's something like 25% of our agriculture is exported every year, and on top of that, 55% of our agriculture goes to non food related things. I just looked it up.
That means that only about 20% of America's agriculture is going towards actual food to eat, which is madness to me.

Some of it makes perfect sense. If we only consider the produce section of the grocery store, most of the items are going to be seasonal and price in considerable human labor, with only a fraction reaching a grade to be considered pretty enough to land on the shelves instead of being sent to a food processing plant. A lot of this is grown in latin america for what should be obvious reasons, though weirdly enough you'll see a lot of greenhouse grown produce from Canada for some reason. I suspect jeets are involved.

American farmers want to maximize profit, so this leads them to picking whatever gets subsidized (dairy, corn, etc.). This resultant deluge of excess material is then exported to keep the market from dropping below the profit point, and it seems the US government has to bully other countries to take this shit because of how much there is. Dairy is only this cheap because it's literally maintained by armies of illegal immigrants housed onsite and driven straight from the border.

If you want things to change, end ag subsidies and enforce immigration law. Food prices on meat and dairy will explode but that's just an illusion because the tax payer was always footing the bill for it in the first place. Don't be too surprised if it results in grocery stores trying to import more foreign products made in cheaper markets (e.g. Argentine beef).

i would guess thats because of different methodes used, not because of price. also who cares milk has become incredible long lasting in the fridge anyway.

Also WTF Judges, we were promissed riots...

If 75% of current output isn't used for domestic consumption, wouldn't prices fall if the industry wasn't propped up with tax dollars?

The prices would fall below profitability, which is why you've seen seeing soyfarmers whining for the last few months that China won't buy their soy. The central government is forced to barter on their behalf to find markets for their products.

The market solution would be to tell the farmers to get fucked, change their business model to something profitable, or go out business. However, farmers are absolute welfare clowns in a hilariously oversaturated industry that's effectively managed to efficiently eliminate profit margins. Without the subsidies, the market could face shortages and price fluctuations that annoy consumers. People like living in a world where the corn-fed beef is always $4/lb and doesn't spike to $6/lb when a bad corn harvest shows up and farmers have to switch to some more expensive feed. It's a conscious tradeoff we make as a nation. We baby these unprofitable businesses because the alternative would be allowing the market to discover the real going rate for any arbitrary commodity.

Judges can order whatever the fuck they want, if there is no money, there is no money.
Competent judges who order things order things that can be actually enforced. So, for instance, a judge ordering someone building a dam to stop doing it so as not to flood the properties upstream while the actual lawsuit is ongoing is doing something within his powers and that actually preserves the properties the lawsuit is about.

A judge shooting from the hip and issuing an oral order straight from the bench demanding the President do something he wants done is a fucking retard. That judge is John J. McConnell, Jr., the Chief Judge of the District of Rhode Island.

I hope he gets a personal smackdown from SCOTUS because he is completely out of line.
Walmart near me I hear is barren of customers.
Mine was crowded as fuck and the lines were ridiculous. Not a groid in sight, although that too was typical.

Well, but that's another thing, no? I'm asking genuinely, mind. I'm not telling burgers that they should accept European ways (though I do think it's better). Like, exactly - if you blow your money on shit, then no money for you. Starve.
But if you are genuinely in need, gov't will not let you eat dirt, so it has to be a conscious decision to be a nigger (or fall through the cracks).
This and other high-trust activities usually look much better until you have the same demographics as the US. Everything like this is getting walked back in "progressive" countries in the not so distant future.

Q: Why not make EBT simple monetary welfare? Some European countries handle it well -- you search for a job, you are given enough of a tugboat, if you're completely fucked, you will be given emergency money but you're forfeiting banking privacy, and the government is actually watching what you're buying. Best of both worlds, no?
Which country actually does this well? It's extremely abused in every country I know of.

The "Kill All MAGAs" wing of the party is running the Democrat party in all but name.
It's literally like the time when fundies ran the GOP. Until they figured out everyone fucking HATED the fundies. Also you can charge your iPhone to 100% immediately by just putting it in the microwave for a minute.

Taking away EBT should show Commies and Socialists how retarded their ideas are because a government that feeds you can just as easily starve you.
How is that different from Captaslim.
Your job gets outsourced to an Indian, and there are no new jobs on the market, then you can make the same argument about it.

All systems have flaws and issues, but you don't want people to starve. As starving masses are easier to radicalize, it can break a nation.

These plants grow everywhere and can be eaten if hungry.

MOD EDIT: This plant is the Jimsonweed (Datura stramonium) and is poisonous.
Not only is Jimsonweed/Devil's Trumpet generally toxic, it has psychoactive compounds in almost every part of the plant, especially the seeds. The effects are aptly described by Captain Lou Albano:
