Someone should tell Chris "fuck the past, tomorrow is the future" or some crap to that effect.
 
Let's get hypothetical...a pretty girl tells Chris,in person, that's he's overweight and very unattractive. How do you all think he would react?

Well clearly she is exceeding the hurtful truth level. The rules state that he is thus allowed to disregard anything she says.

Nonsense. If I were exceeding the Hurtful Truth Level, the Hurtful Truth Level Bar on our Heads Up Display would turn red and fill up.
Besides, did't OPL spend his rupees in Austistown to buy the Shield of Denial from the merchant? It gives him a +2 vs. Hurtful Truths and 20% Resistance against the Introspection Status Condition.

Maybe he doesn't have it equipped.

He has to unequip the MassDebator and fill that slot with the Shield of Denial if he's going to survive the Cave of Facts level.
 
So, do folks seem to think Chris see the acne, fat, and grease and deduces that these are attractive traits?
Or, is he somehow incapable of seeing such?
Maybe, some subconscious aspect of his psyche erase it after seeing it?
Does he see it, realize it's ugly, but his defective brain forgets this 30 seconds later and defaults back to the story programmed into him by Barb?

Honestly, all of these seem plausible for the mental mess that is Christian Weston Chandler, but it'd be kind of interesting to see if we couldn't pin down which mental defect is driving his egotism. Given the second-to-second fluctuation of Chris' motivation, I can even see all of these - or some other odd reason - being a factor each time he looks in a mirror.

This may seem stupid, but can you all see that link? Every time someone posts a link to something Chris does on Facebook, I all I see is a generic page that says "this content is currently unavailable." Do I have to be FB friends with him to see it, or am I somehow specifically banned from seeing it?

Do you have a facebook account? And, what, you can't see that link? Or is it just other Chris facebook links?
 
Oh wow, I just logged out of my FB account, and could finally see Chris' profile and that post on MTV's timeline. A whole new world has been opened to me! :D

Edit: So, wait, does Facebook prevent non-friends with accounts from seeing his stuff, while allowing guests to view everything? That seems odd. Maybe, did Chris specifically block me? That would be pretty cool. :mrgreen:

he makes some posts for all the public to see, but the rest is private.

He must have blocked you GFYS. I'm not on his friends list yet I can see it while logged into my FB account.
