I cannot think of a single woman who's apart of the "community" beyond let's play thots cashing in on easy views
I follow a comic artist who is currently losing her mind getting stuck into bloodborne content excavation. Taught herself how to rip models and started consulting with Japanese translators on some terminology, it's good stuff.

I bought Elden ring recently and beat it for the first time. Played it mostly blind, towards the end I looked up how to access some optional loot I could tell I missed and couldn't figure out how to get to. It's a good game but I am disappointed that ng+ has nothing new. It wouldn't have taken much to add some red phantoms as an update. Also the early game on ng+ is way too easy they should've scaled it up more. Definitely worth buying and playing though.
I did a quality build for my first play through. I didn't want to cheese my blind play through with magic/lightning so I haven't used any spells or any offensive miracles. Going to make a new int/faith character later.
I knew I would miss most of the quests being blind but the amount of quests, and how they interact (screw up?) one another is daunting if you wanted to do a completion run.

The NG+ in this game really is a let down. Particularly because they dump all the +1/2/3 items on you in the regular New Game cycle. I guess the only real reason to do NG+ for ER is if you want the other endings and wanna nuke the early game bosses with end game spells like Red Lightning stake or something.

But the endings aren't much of an incentive considering that only 2 of them are actually different and don't end with you sitting on the throne with a different color filter over the screen.

Once again DS2 remains the king of new game cycles. Especially since you can use ascetics to push individual areas into a new cycle without having to beat the game first.

ETA: also I ran a miracle build my first time through and it wasn't OP until like, more than halfway through the game. Regular lighting spear is OK, but the range kinda sucks and basically everything in the game is resistant to Holy damage so a good chunk of offensive miracles are pretty shit. It's not until you get access to the Red Lighting spells that you can start breezing through. Dragon Incants are where your damage really comes from. Stuff like the claw slam and even maw give the most bang for your buck, and they can even combo. The breath spells, basic ones anyway, are pretty good as an opening attack but the FP cost, lack of hyper armor and cast times really blow.

I want to like Elden Ring, it's my first "dark souls" game. It's just too bullshit to be fun. Blah blah Get Gud blah blah, yes I've been on the internet.
I'm very good at some other games, I just realized after about 40 hours into my playthrough that after being fucked over by bullshit one-hits and playing Simon Says with bosses for 10 minutes all I have to look forward to is more bullshit one-hits and pattern memorization. I get that like half of the draw of the game is being esoteric and opaque but I hated not really understanding what stats should be prioritized and I probably had a suboptimal build which added to the frustration. I didn't want to go online and check the wiki every half hour though.
Shit sucks. Beautiful world though.

I mean, yeah, that's probably close to the truth of it, but who really cares?

The lack of DLC is driving some people bonkers.
Granted people being born from flowers is something that happens in Japanese media, but unless he mentioned something that outright says the daughters were not born from the rot womb I think it's just waifu cope

I always took it as they're not really her daughters, but pieces of her that she had to discard to to call upon the Outer Will of Rot. I think that was even stated at one point.

You're not wrong about the cope part, though I'd think Zullie's waifu would be Sellen, not Malenia.

Any of the field dragon bosses. Not because they're bad mechanically but because they have absolutely insane hitboxes

You've got these massive hulking beasts that take up 80% of the screen and yet probably only 20% of their body is a valid hitbox.

This isn't bad for me because I've played the shit out of Elden Ring and I know exactly where to deal damage but new players are going to be so fucking confused as to why they're smackiing the thing and not doing any damage.

Actually I take that back, Borealis of the freezing fog is bad mechanically, so many times I've died without being hit by anything. I suspect it's because either his hitboxes are even more broken than the other dragons or because his freezing breath/mist attack is the same color as the environment/ground so I can't see it.

Only one I consider absolute shit is Elden Beast. Big tragedy since Radagon is fantastic, but Elden Beast really should have been a mounted fight.

Elk, Giant and Renalla are fine for atmosphere even if the fight itself has issues.

Melania and Malekith ended up being a skill check for me that I failed and I cheesed them with Doppleganger rivers of blood, I still think I'm a giant faggot for going with that but my second playthrough is very much in the middle as of now, so till I retry them, I can only put them there since they pissed me enough to cheese things.

Best buddy dragon Fortissax was a good fight, simply that.

Morgoth was pretty cool but a bit of a pushover for when you fight him,

Astel was amazing till I found him a second time in a fucking cave, but that first time was still peak, specially since I was hoping for some eldritch nightmare shit and Astel was the "here you go" moment of that.

Godrick was a fantastic "first Elden lord", not a gigantic wall like Margit but also had a nice challenge and rhythm to him the first time you face him and the design is awesome.

Placidusax had a lot going for him between how you find him and how the fights tarts with a fat fuck till he goes full cocaine fiend in the second part and starts wooshing all over the place, best moment is when he just drops a nuke that deafens the music, first time he did that shit was peak.

Hoarah Loux top of A since I was getting impatient at that point in the game and didn't enjoy him as much as I should, but what he was doing was great and it felt like a proper brawl with a beast, him going full wrestler in phase 2 is awesome.

Mogh, is probably the best designed boss mechanically, incredibly threatening and hard hitting, but slower tempo than most of the others. Kind of reminds me a bit of Nameless king in that sense.

Rykard is the best spectacle fight From Soft ever made, period. The design is straight out of Berserk and when everything is going completely nuts with skulls and lava everywhere, gives a nice high when you clinch it.

Radhan... I fought Radhan solo without summoning any ghosts and I would have not had it any other way. I love dueling the big fucking oaf be it on horse or on the ground. Took me a long time to beat but unlike Malekith, Melania and Hoarah Loux, I felt I deserved it. Basically, I enjoyed my time with tiny horse man quite a bit.

I like tier lists.

Never had a problem with Melania. Throw freeze or sleep pots to interrupt waterfowl dance and learn to parry.

Mohg gave me more trouble than Melania on my first playthrough. Great design, great pacing, great sountrack, great arena. My personal fave.

Rykard and Radahn are cool and are neat to fight without the serpent hunter/summons but are still the spectacles of the game. Not as much as BoC/Dragon God but still.

This is the one that you fight on the plateau at the end of the Ranni questline right? I can't remember the names of all these dragons and I think that was the ice one. Pretty sure I cheesed that fight by puking out poison mist and fireballs while hiding in the cathedral. That one had too much aoe to fight while on Torrent.

I had to check to make sure this wasn't another asshole pretending to be From Software shit posting. I expect a whole new map with how fucking long this took.
