If memory serves, they tend to release these things shortly after teasing them. At least, I hope so.

I would still prefer they put Bloodborne in grorious 60FPS for PC, but I've had the itch to replay this title for a minute but been holding off for the DLC.

The DS2 dlcs, Ashes of Ariandel, and The Old Hunters all came out around two months after they were announced. I don't remember if AotA was announced alongside the pc version of DS1 or not but iirc AotA actually came to pc first with the PTDE release. I feel like The Ringed City was announced and came out in like the same month but I could be misremembering.

Shadow of the Erdtree is either huge or a fucking disaster for there to be an almost year and a half gap of radio silence.

Better be at least twenty hours of content. If this is a two hour Ashes of Ariendal thing I'm going to roll my eyes so hard.

I hope we get some busted spells that ruin online play for 6 months.

They took a while with it I'd imagine so.
I hope there is a cool fat guy armor.
You will get a twink and a waifu and you will like it. (If the Dream thing is happening, I hope we get Prime Radahn and his horse.)

I imagine its gonna be another flat "open world" region at least one legacy dungeon (hopefully 2) and a about 6-8 catacombs.

Fucking hell I just broke my Palworld addiction, I don't need a second open world to be tossed back into. Still hoping for a double fight where the bosses focus on each other until one wins for phase 2 like Creighton and Pate or Pre-Serpent Rykard like I said before. I'm also hoping the Bleach shit I noticed was all coincidence and I don't comb over wiki pages of a series I've never watched/read to sate my curiosity AGAIN... But just in case, I called it if the trailer abruptly ends with whoever rules the afterlife shooting the same laser as the big skeletons at a small group of people led by Miquella.

After taking so long, I dont even have any hype. Between the wait, the lackluster lore, and the plethora of issues the game has idk if theres anything they could bring thay would bring me back. Feelsbadman.

Neither person instantly goes hostile though? It's a fight between them that you happen to stumble into. At least last time I played DS2, when Creighton won the fight with Pate, he was totally chill until I attacked him.

That's why I specified phase 2, because Pate/Creighton don't attack you after the fight's over (trapped chest aside). Even then the feud Pate and Creighton had was more personal vendetta, it had less stakes and they both thought you were on their side going into it- then both of the m laugh at your misfortune when you trigger the trapped chest behind the door they gave you the key to. From what I could tell if either of them were stronger than/not human or injured they probably would try to kill you, like how I'm imagining the bosses would. The scenario I'm thinking of is more 'who rules the realm of death' or something where they either don't acknowledge the tarnished because the bigger fight, in their minds, is right in front of them/in progress, or they literally don't notice you until the other boss is dead, or maybe one/both of them always planned on betraying you.

In general I don't get the point of DLCs literally years after the base game came out. I already played the game and forgotten the lore. Even if the expansion adds new systems I don't remember how the original game played. At least Dark Souls you can finish in two days after the first time, ER is either jump to my old character when I need to reacclimate to the systems or play two weeks from scratch.

Call me a fanboy, but I'm hyped. In DS3, Ringed City came in a long time after and I still went into that with joy in my heart. Though I do agree that with most games, additional "story content" DLC usually is not enough to get me back in. Nioh I only played a bit of the first DLC and didn't bother with the rest and with FFVII Remake I didn't have any particular desire to actually play the Yuffie content.

It's one of the reasons I tend to let games where I expect DLC to simmer to just get the "full" edition and play everything in a single sitting. Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak has certainly been a lot more of a focused experience due to having EVERYTHING out of the gate. From Soft games are the only ones where I make this exception, but again, call me a fanboy.

I wouldn't mind more Frenzied Flame incantations (totally not because I started using them on my Faith setup), but I'll echo the need for cool fat guy armor.

Call me a faggot retard, but I'm hyped beyond belief for this. I've been replaying all the souls games over the last 2 months and about to start another play through of ER before this DLC comes out. Fingers crossed its not 2hrs long
EDIT : Just watched it. With the amount of new looking enemies and environments I'm feeling pretty good this will be a lengthy DLC. But not being overly optimistic just yet

i feel baited by that youtube premier countdown
Yeah, completely got suckered by it, thought I had read the time wrong and it was 30 minutes earlier.

EDIT: June 21st, later than I was hoping

Did seem like a "martial arts" weapon could be a thing.
