"Urge", an early piece by Steve Roach that is redolent of some Klaus Schultz.

Non-Stop Violence by Apoptygma Berzerk.

I hope that College has already been covered in this tread. I especially like this "cover" by Anoraak. The de-tuned synth sound at the beginning is perfect.

This reminds me of another track I like but I can't think of it.

Somewhat similar is Claes Rosen, who did funk-inspired progressive house

Forgot this banger:

Followed up on what they’ve released most recently and apparently they stopped making music around 8 years ago. The most recent releases went more towards pop, I did find one hot mess of a song, though. I think they’re going for a Bowie(?) sound with the vocals. At 1:28 this song features a sample of the Edison Phonograph Advertising Record, along with a text to speech streamer dono voice reading up the same speech superimposed onto it. It also has the word ”garden gnome” in the lyrics. I love it.

Out of curiosity, when do you listen to this? Like in what context?
Personally? With headphones, secluded from normies. So that it doesn't BLOW THEIR MINDS. I find it especially suitable for nighttime.

I will always associate stuff like Klaus Schultz with Godfrey Ho ninja movies. That guy stole some good stuff.

Yeah but like… what do you do while listening? Just chilling, gaming, chores, interrogating inmates in Abu Ghraib, etc?
Well the last time I listened to Demdike Stare, I believe I was folding clothes or reading, maybe? I wouldn't necessarily identify it as clothes-folding music, though. Pairs well with just about anything: works well as background music, no distracting words. Just all around feel good music to improve your mood and make plants grow.

Searched thread and I guess nobody said Autechre? (maybe somebody linked) I listen through their whole discography every so often.

What do people think of Witch House as a genre? I feel like it's so much more hit/miss than anything else and extraordinarily samey. Also cannot shake the feeling that when I'm listening to it I'm just hearing the same gay club beats mashed together with some tired distorted female vocalising. I guess another way of putting it, a little goes a long way.

its like taking the occult themes of geogaddi, the production values of crystal castles, and the very vew vaporwave era trap albums like blank banshee 0 or mana pool and somehow mixed it into something cohesive
