Can't wait for the ID on the third one + the vocals on the last one remind me of Kate Bush. Also can't wait for the summer to bump all of these loud as fuck in my car like the retard I am, zero fucks given as always :smug:

ETA: the third one is Max Graham & Second Sine (Ft. Eve Allie) - Every Moment

This one is definitely getting added to the playlist :winner:
But why is it so short? Do you guys ever get paranoid that new releases are just AI slop?
I like to think my EDM niche is immune to AI slop (hoping I'm not proven wrong). But it seems that Deathpact rarely releases a song longer than 3 minutes nowadays :(

Relevant (and longer):

Pretty much this. Most of the of stuff I listen to is from artists that have been active for like 20+ years anyways and I have zero reason to believe they'd resort to AI. I also kinda make it a point to skip all the obvious AI slop in my recommendations, which includes even cover art (I might make an exception occasionally but it's very rare).

Thread tax this time is old but gold (at least for me:))

Bass music is fairly safe from AI slop, given so much of the appeal is unique sound design and an amelodic structure.
Tracks getting shorter does seem like a general problem though. I'm even seeing progressive house/trance stuff under 3-4 minutes, which should be a warcrime.

Tax: One of my favorite progressive tracks.

Lords of Acid are electronic, sure.
I threw the Mortal Kombat theme in a stem splitter last July and had my mind blown. This was hiding in the mix between the first "MORTAL KOMBAAAAAAAAAAAT" and "FIGHT!" in the first 20-30 seconds, before the beat even comes in:

Never noticed it because it's way quieter than the part everyone knows (the above clip got normalized to -2 dB from -10.33 dB and isn't in this next one), so this is what you hear :

And here it is with the "hidden" percussion normalized to -2 dB and the synth melody dropped to -10.33 dB, so you can hear how it would sound if weren't so subliminal:

Good job Praga and Oliver. 👍

Nine Inch Nails ever discussed here? They are very popular but I never tend find others who also listen to them. Listening to dubstep in middle/highschool really makes NIN stand out
