Nine Inch Nails ever discussed here? They are very popular but I never tend find others who also listen to them. Listening to dubstep in middle/highschool really makes NIN stand out
You could get away with posting them here or in the goth music thread. I'd lean more toward the goth personally but I'm not gonna sit here fuming that someone dared to post NIN in the electronic music thread.

There is something extremely funny about an act that was made to make fun of the stupidity of mask DJs becoming bigger than either of the duo's original projects, trapping them in a cage made of their own cynicism and desire for success. Even funnier that they probably hate the drooling ketamine retards that flock to their sets.

Some stuff off the top of my head that got me interested in electronic music back in the day.

Narayan is hands down the best track on TFOTL, nothing can change my mind. Criminally underrated.

Last but not least, an absolute banger lol

One of my favorite trip hop/downtempo tracks, by far.
Bonobo is the tits :feels: never gets old for me at least (I've received a few of these top listener badges in the past lol)

If I had to pick one artist to listen to for the rest of my life it'd 100% be Bonobo, no doubt.

Animal Magic is definitely his strongest album. Excellent late 90's instrumental trip hop/downtempo stuff.

What's some of your favorite remixes or edits that you think sound better or drastically different than the original?

I like every album up to The North Borders so much that I can't really pick one, but AM and Dial 'M' For Monkey definitely stand out from the rest style wise, Days To Come was a significant change from the first two and after that he's changed a lot between albums.

Tim Berg (aka Avicii) original version of "Bromance", In fact, the remix that the manager made got more popular so they scrapped the original version and went with a version called "Avicii Arena mix", which is the version most people associate the track with. For a while, they removed the original but then reinstated the name because of the streaming play counts could not be transferred (Spotify is picky with the ISRC must be the same).

Yes, the music video is a gayer version of Modjo - Lady.

Like the originals of these too, but the remixes are amazing, and makes them sound like completely different tracks.

And, of course
