Man, one of the most frustrating things about this nonsense, for me personally, is the idea that sex is this hugely complex, bewildering mystery, so complicated and hard to pin down that there is no simple way to divide "men" from "women," yet their own ideology has the two categories of "transman" and "transwoman" (okay, sometimes three among those who count non-binary). Simply put, "trans" itself has no meaning unless the sex-based distinction of man and woman is real and immediately grasped by people.
Interesting to see how masculine Eli's face is nowadays. His chin and jaw are much more pronounced and seem to be larger than they were a few years ago. You can also see his adam's apple more and more. I really do think he has stopped hormones (quite possibly for health reasons).
But the person who really comes out of this whole segment looking stupid is actually Brianna Wu. Eli is far, far less creepy and physically repulsive than B.W. The constant eyelid-batting, the half-open mouth, the glasses pushed halfway down the nose. Eli says nutty and ridiculous things, but B.W., with his "reasonable tranny" shtick, is even more incoherent. He actually says at one point here: "That's why I transitioned. To just have a normal life." Yet his very appearance here is, and at a fucking glance, the epitome of everything that is the opposite of "normal." He looks so fucking disturbing. And then he, a man who thinks he is a woman and looks like a caricature of a sex doll, has the balls to tell Erlick that he is "not a serious person." "We have to get some adults back in charge of the trans rights movement again." Are you for real Mr. Flynt? Fucking look at yourself!
Edit: and Eli has always struck me as a person who jumped on the trans bandwagon because it was socially advantageous for him - b/c it was a way to make himself special, exotic, and interesting enough to extract a social advantage from a particular cohort (in his case, professional activism/academia). In a way, this makes a hell of a lot more sense than whatever pornography-derived paraphilia/fetish is obviously motivating Wu.

He's not the only one I've seen pushing this argument and saying it's a bad definition, but the people who do that do that don't understand biology or sex differentiation.

At conception, you have the genes that will determine the sex pathway you go down as you develop a sex. The Y-chromosome, which contains the SRY genes that steer development in the womb to initiate the development of a male sex rather than female, are present at conception. This pathway is what will determine which reproductive organs you go on to develop.

Even if there's some kind of mutation that results in an intersexed disorder or ambiguous genitalia, the chromosomes will still be present, and also the reproductive anatomy internally will primarily revolve around the production of large (female) OR small gametes (male). In known* medical literature, there's never been a recording of both sets of reproductive organs occurring in the same body. XY androgen insenstive males may have a Woman's phenotype and completely pass as a Woman from the outside, including external genitalia, but internally they don't have a womb or ovaries. They have undesceded testicles, which pretty much always have to be removed, because they turn cancerous. Even intersex disorders in humans do not negate the biology present at conception. Whoever drafted, this knew exactly what they were doing when they chose that wording.

*Ancient stuff that cannot be verified from thousands of years ago, does not count.

Advanced biology, that they love saying is on their side, says we already have those egg cells due to the genes in the X chromosome. Sex differentiation begins at 7-8 weeks, but we still have a sex. Saying otherwise means they can't tell the sex if embryos when they absolutely can for IVF.

I deny that trannies were targeted for being trans. Every example that I've ever seen involved someone who would have been targeted for other reasons such as being Jewish, being a sex offender, or being an outspoken critic of fascism. What Pablo Estrobar over here doesn't realize that federal funding isn't the sole the reason hospitals and other organizations are abandoning the troon agenda.
