Actually shockingly i agree with the line of reasoning its pretty good but the conclusion that the form of fuck up will be some sort of destruction isnt carried by the premises we could build an AI and it just decides to fuck off into outer space for example ir it could pull itself into its own world etc. Hes being a doomer because it gets clicks

You could also invent an AI that loves booze then it's too drunk to care about killing all humans.

I mean... I think it would be worth a try.... (I'm saying send me more booze!)

Yud is literally the posterchild how to leverage participation in the right online communities into a career/paid lifestyle even if you're a giant fucking sperg: We now have people running AI companies whose conception of the risk posed by AI comes from a greasy neurotic Jewish man whose spergery is based on the abnormal cognitive processes displayed by him and his followers.
Having "rationalists" and "effective altruists" come anywhere near power would be more devastating than AGI.
