I think we need to bring back the expression "venereal disease." Nobody brags about having VD.

Isn't there a wall you should be building around your prison island, mate?
The reactions in this thread are pretty clear proof that society needs a wake-up call when it comes to the alienation of people who've contracted socially vilified diseases.
I think she's a strong, fearless woman who is standing up for a good cause and you should all be ashamed for trying to silence her. I also don't see any evidence of lolcow behaviour she is simply standing up and speaking out for the rights of a marginalised section of society. How would you people feel if somebody you loved had herpes and was treated this terribly?
You are doing great, Ella. Don't let the trolls get you down.
So how long have you had herpes?
Just kiddingBut seriously, that was sarcastic, right?
You just think she's cute.I don't have herpes, and no, I'm not being sarcastic.
If 1 out of 6 people in America have herpes, and this one girl decides to stand up and say "society shouldn't treat us so shamefully" and everyone's immediate response is to call her a slut and a cunt and a diseased whore and try to shame and silence her, how does that prove her wrong? 1 in 6 people in America have herpes and now you're wondering why they're all so quiet about it? Speaks for itself, doesn't it.

You just espoused the equivalent of the fat acceptance movement for sexual health.
There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding. You can't compare them.Add talking about your genital blisters to the list of exceptional things that feminists consider "empowering"
Previously we've seen:
In every case it's about rebelling against some long established standard of decorum for women and trying to upset the daddy they never had.
- Breastfeeding in public
- Talking about your menstruation
- Talking about your masturbation
- Talking about anything to do with the vagina/vulva
- Dressing like a trashy slut
There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding. You can't compare them.
If only the breastfeeding stopped with infants...There's a difference between breastfeeding an infant when it's hungry and getting genital herpes and then deliberately having unprotected sex.
One is a crucial part of life and the other is sheer idiocy.
That's an entirely different can of worms. This thread is about icky female fun parts and the icky females that they are attached to, not 34 year old accountants that still sucke on mommy's teets. If only the breastfeeding stopped with infants...
